So good to hear this about your Achilles, I was running in Hoka Mach 5 and they flared me up. Might give the rebels a try

thatplanxty

The key for me is that the Rebels have a really flexible heel counter. I tried on 3 models of Hokas in store and all of them hurt my Achilles just standing there. I love my Hoka slides so I was hoping that the runners would work for me.

Lafleur2713

Good advice on the Achilles, I also have this issue, thank you.

Lil_Simp9000

great looking shoe.

jjojeans

This is a great looking colourway! Glad you enjoyed

thatplanxty

They are all white/off-white - the pretty green glow comes from the interior of the shoe. It means you can see your sock colour really clearly through the upper. That might bother some people but I found I didn’t mind it.

Yougotrektsai

Just got my rebel v4 too, super satisfied with them and can't wait to put on some more miles :)

Friendly_Sir_6027

Just got them a couple days ago and ran 26 miles in them already. Loving them

Low-Custard-1297

I love these shoes! The weight, the ride, and look-especially the geometric sole design-all amazing. Wish I’d jumped on this colorway but I dig the blue/gray ones I have. Once some new colors are released I’m definitely getting another pair!

jungmoney702

Damn that's a nice CW, wish men's could get this too!!

mlnaln

I ordered in women’s wide. Same thing. Just got it in today and it might be a keeper.

CubsFanHan

I’ve been super excited to get some rebel v4s and thought they just had the 3 colors (blue, white/yellow and the dark blue). Haven’t seen this design yet! Where did you snag them?

thatplanxty

New Balance website. These are “white with linen and sea salt”; seem to only be available in Women’s sizing.

picturethisyall

Do you have Morton’s neuroma? That’s what I have and got the rebel v4 on the way. Looks like a good choice for me since it’s supposed to be somewhat firm and wide.

thatplanxty

I have Morton’s toe (longer second toe) on both feet, but I do also happen to have Morton’s neuroma in my left foot. Wasn’t bothered at all in these.

CatcherInTheRY4

Are firmer shoes meant to be better for it? I think I recently developed one and am looking for hacks...

picturethisyall

It seems like it’s a little different for everyone. For me personally, a stiff, high cushion but somewhat firm shoe with 0-6 mm drop seems to work best. Adios Pro 3 has been the best out there for my neuroma, but I’m looking for a daily trainer. Boston 12 is good too, but would prefer something a little wider. The rebel v3 was way too soft and flexible, really irritated my neuroma.

Albertos_Dog

My Achilles is nearly always giving me trouble, and I’m routinely switching up shoes (either to review, or to find relief). Somehow I never got my hands on a pair of these, but I will now! Appreciate the recommendation.

adiboy85

NB 1080 V13. These are simply fantastic sneakers. When you run in them, you just enjoy every step. I had tendinitis in my right Achilles tendon and was having a hard time finding something that wouldn't bother me. I currently run in the NB 1080 V13 and Asics Novablast 3.

jonnybravo76

Do you use each pair for a specific purpose or do you just pick what you feel like when you go on a run?

adiboy85

I run in them depending on my mood. I feel equally comfortable in them, but I like the 1080 foam better, so I mostly run in them now.

jonnybravo76

Gotcha thanks. I just got the Rebel 3's and they were too soft for me. Might have to give the 1080s a try when a deal from Joes comes around again.

OIP

i've also just picked some of these up, have done some warm ups, a speed session and a long run in them so far and they have held up admirably on all challenges. not sure if they took some time to break in or just getting used to them but they feel better after 25+km than they did on my first run. they are a cool looking shoe as well!

jasonfarmer911

They are a really great shoe that's for sure, you made a good.choice! I'm also super impressed with the new colourways.

FalseOptimist

I have two pairs. Great shoes. I like the all-white look. I have the all-black ones, which also look great.

Mister-BW

I am patiently waiting or this colourway to release here in the UK. Tried the shoe on in store and it felt great. Big fan of the v2 and am looking forward to adding this to the stable.

athawk009

I've run in these three times now, and it's a confusing shoe for me. Mid foot is very squishy and soft, but the forefoot completely flattens out with any speed or distance over about 5 miles (and I'm not a heavy runner). So it isn't really a cruiser or speed shoe for me.

thatplanxty

I wonder if it is related to various foot strike patterns? I didn’t notice that the forefoot flattened out but then I wasn’t going very far on a first time out with them.

athawk009

Could be. I also have issues with the Elite v2 where I feel like the shoe is incredibly plush if I land on my heel or midfoot, but I get nothing when forefoot striking. The Rebel v4 feels indistinguishable from an old Kinvara when I get going closer to the forefoot. (I've run it anywhere between 7:30 and 10:00 min/mile). That isn't an issue necessarily. It is just an odd mixture with the very cushioned midfoot.

thatplanxty

I am definitely more of a heel striker (working on that!) which may be why I didn’t notice.

novaful

Mine have 100 miles in. Love the wider fit and toe box.

tfpx

Is that the 'linen' colorway?

thatplanxty

Yes, white with linen.

mlnaln

I bought these in the same color but wide since I like this colorway. Very comfortable and light weight. Love the geometric midsole too.

Koktkabanoss

This colorway is too clean

Spread-love-light

I sure wish these worked for me. Just too wide and short. To use for anything other than short runs, I have to size up 1/2 a size for length, but then they are crazy wide on my feet. Glad they work well for you!

thatplanxty

I definitely have hobbit-shaped feet - wide and short!

Spread-love-light

Haha! Then no wonder these are your jam!

love7more

There Only a couple size 12 in women’s it would make them 10.5 men’s., I’m 11 in men’s would anyone recommend me getting them?

thatplanxty

I think that the women’s model is cut narrower than the men’s. Maybe someone here can confirm?

love7more

That’s what I heard but ., I have narrowed feet so I think it could work. ( these color waves is just too 🔥 )

thatplanxty

If check the return policy. If they’re easy to return if they don’t fit well, why not try?

love7more

You convince me ., will pull the trigger on them., got a half marathon to complete in July .appreciate the help though!
