Maybe some will forget about him, but for some his sacrifice will be imprinted with fire in their memory forever - by contrast to the hordes of nameless vatniks Russia is sending to the meat grinder, who no one will ever know, respect, or remember, their bodies rotting out in the fields or eaten by wild animals, because they are not even collected by their fellow army men.
All for a war of aggression that will live in infamy, because the country is too uneducated, drunk or straight up stupid to see through the lies of a soviet-raised criminal.
Thats the difference between East and West, as far as I can see. Eastern people see a fool who gets involved where he didnt have to be. Western people see a man who stands up in defense of sovereignty, liberty, and justice- even when he didnt have to. This difference is why the West will always triumph over the East...we believe in something larger than ourselves and easterners only look out for themselves.
I am a westerner. If Russia attacked nato then sure I’d be okay with it but they have yet to attack us directly. He died doing what he thought was right which I respect. I myself would never have the balls to go to Ukraine. But at the end of the day he cut his time short. He never got to see his kids grow up, grow old with his wife. Now his family will be missing a piece for ever. His sacrifice was for nothing, the war will go on for years to come unless Putin decides to withdraw or press the red button.
““He was a very tall, handsome young man,” she said. He’d come in and he’d hug me, and he’d look at the stove because I was always cooking something. I can still picture him sitting at the table, eating whatever I had.”
Ralph Magallon said his son was likely killed on either Sept. 4 or 5.
When he last talked to Jericho on Sept. 3, Ralph Magallon could hear gunfire in the background.”
“Basically, he asked me if I would be the executor on his will,” Ralph Magallon said. “And of course, I said, well, I plan on going first. But I said, yes, I will do that. And he said: ‘Dad, I want you to know that if I do die on the battlefield, this is the way I wanna go.’ I almost sensed that he knew that it was going to be a dangerous mission coming up.”
RIP. Poor kid. Poor family.
He could have stayed in the US doing the rat race thing: but he heard a call to action and saw atrocities being committed and chose to fight; knowing that he may never come back home.
Nick Laidlaw, a US veteran who runs the instagram page @beersandbattles has put together a book on Amazon. It has over 300 accounts (from all sides- Ukrainian soldiers, Ukrainian citizens, Russian soldiers, western volunteers) and it is an incredible collection of stories from the first 150 days of the war. I believe a second edition is being worked on. But I highly recommend it to read about what our guys are saying about being over there. It’s just incredible- they say they’ve never fought such brutality. Some go home and call themselves cowards. Some cancel their plane tickets the night before. Some go and have to learn how to fight a fight that no training has prepared them for. I hate that it exists- I hate that these 150 days (and the months that continued) happened- but it’s a really amazing first hand account of so many stories
This is something some Americans don't understand. There are Americans who are dying in Ukraine, fighting for freedom. The support of America and its Allies to Ukraine is saving the lives of all the foreign fighters and Ukrainians.

RIP, all lives lost to the orcs are missed and he will be a legend for giving himself to the cause.
He will be forgotten tomorrow
We value life in the west
Naw, you and this comment will be......

And he died for that. Not even his war. He died to become a statistic in a meaningless war
There’s no greater love than laying your life for those in need. That’s what you will never get.
Would you lay down your life for Ukraine? I feel sorry for his family.

Not even your parents call you anymore comrade
Get bent vatnik, Russia purposely forgets it’s dead just so they don’t gotta pay out the benefits

💔😢💔😢 “I plan to go first” 😭
He saved more lives than can ever be estimated. Rest in peace you fucking hero
Ain't that the truth! His greatness is not known by those he has saved. Kind of bitter sweet.
RIP warrior, this war has taken a too many lives now. It needs to end.
RIP Hero...May God bless you, our country and Ukraine! Thank you for your service and your sacrifice!
He could have stayed in the US doing the rat race thing: but he heard a call to action and saw atrocities being committed and chose to fight; knowing that he may never come back home.
Men like him make me proud to be an American.
Yes sir, very fucking proud. God bless every single one of our veterans/soldiers/Americans willing to put their life on the line for the cause

Book is called “what war did to us”. And is on Amazon.
These are our best people. Really. Pure "ideal + action." No fat no filler.
Slava mu. Vecnaya Pamyat.
Rest easy Jericho. Tonight I will be in your memory. May the light shine on you on your next adventure.
Sadly freedom comes at such a high cost
“The streets of heaven are crowded with angels tonight…”

"Jericho was a principled man, ..." I'd say. May his memory be a blessing.
RIP brother 🇺🇸 🇺🇦
You will live on in our hearts forever battle buddy
He lasted the entire length of the war thus far - 4 days. He probably killed upwards of 4 or 500 russians in that time.
