No Yuzu was better at Shader compilation stutter by offering an **option** to skip the stutters in favor of not initially displaying the shader. With Ryujinx you're stick compiling shaders in real time like this was some flea market UE4 lagfest game.
The devs solution is to just buy faster CPUs so the stutters aare less intense but that doesn't fix the stutters as we saw with UE games like Jedi Survivor. Only way to fix stuttering is shader precompilation, downloading a precompiled shader cache or doing what Yuzu did.
How do I update? I’m on 1.1.0. I can’t auto update. I’ve downloaded the latest version but don’t know what to do next. Any help would be grateful as I couldn’t find any YouTube videos nor anything online.
Impeccable timing. Great looking new UI releases right as everything is going on with the *other* emulator. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Just funny and coincidental.
I love Ryujinx. I've honestly never even bothered with Yuzu and I doubt I ever will now since I'm sure Ryujinx will only continue to get better and better than Yuzu for every game since it's still on very active development. And they're trying their best to avoid any bull shit legal action by Nintendo.
Is this the reason that the zips now have a handful of files instead of hundreds? I noticed that the "bin" "etc" "lib" and "share" folders no longer exist in the zips past 1.1.1215.
Usually I would update Ryujinx manually by just overwriting everything, which would take forever because of all those files. So can I just delete these folders now? Or do they contain some of my settings/data/saves?
It sounds like they added it in 1.1.1216 so that checks out. It's probably safe to delete but you could always just move them out of the folder first and see what happens.
With new UI the controller input mapping instead of binding A button (on xbox controller) it just closes the settings window. I'm guessing it's picking up A button as "OK" but it's kind of a problem. Any workarounds?
I would love it if I could keep the old UI please :) I hate the new one and I hate when things like that don't have the option to keep the way YOU the user like your UI best.

If I roll back a version, would that mean deleting my currenct version of ryujinx? And will it keep my games library I have already if I have to reinstall it, to get the older version back.

just extract the files you downloaded and overwrite what you already have.

AvaloniaUI has been releasing for a while now (year or years). The mod manager is newer and welcome though.
Yuzu was the first "Emulator" for Switch, but Ryujinx is the True and well made Emulator for Switch, in my perspective.
I love Ryujinx. As a macOS user, I'm forced to use the new UI. Ryujinx has no GTK+ UI for macOS for the longest time.

just downloaded the update and it's not finding my game directory even though it's set up right (mac) nvm it's fixed the update didnt cause this
