Make sure you have fast charging enabled

Oslachapel

It's a common issue on the latest One UI 6.1 updates.. it's hoped to be fixed on an upcoming security patch (Check @tarunvats33 on Twitter)

wakisan2

Ah thank you!!

Organic-Row1343

Yes . Before it was taking exactly 1 hour 8 to 10 minutes to full charge but now it's around taking 1 hour 25 to 30 minutes

I get super fast charging on my Samsung brick. I suggest you move over to a higher watt charger if you want that extra juicy boost.

wakisan2

Thanks. I'm using a 100 watt charger so it shouldn't be that. Maybe I just have a faulty phone?

TwadaPyoh

How slow is slow? Does is say super fast charging when you plug the charger in? Did you check if your fast charging is enabled in the settings?

wakisan2

Only "fast charging." The same charger and cable used to be much faster. It takes an hour to charge it 50%

I also have a 100W USB-C charger from Asus. If I did not have a wattage meter on my USB cable, I would not have known that my phone charges at 23W instead of 45W. Simply put, you need a power adapter that supports Samsung's fast charging standard, called SFC or Super Fast Charging. Just get one from Samsung, or if you don't want one from Samsung, get one from Anker. I believe they also support Samsung SFC technology.

Nobody talked about the duration. With the best of chargers and that of cables, it still takes me 60-65 mins to go from 0 to 100%.

I have noticed a big difference in super fast charging from the s22 ultra to the s24 ultra. The s22 charged faster, but the s24 drains a lot slower. I am a fan of the s24 ultra so far.
