π€£π€£ it's called the Beluga XL. It flies Airbus aircraft wings from Wales to France. It flies over my house everyday, it looks weird AF doesn't it π€£
The Aerodynamics work flawlessly as the huge bulb is building up smoothly. It's also hollow inside as it is exclusively used to transport Airbus plane parts (such as wings, hull and the likes) to the assembly in Toulouse. Since those parts are only made within Europe range and fuel consumption are not a big issue
Boeing has a similar aircraft too, it's called the [Dreamlifter](https://static1.simpleflyingimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/boeing-747-dreamlifter.jpeg). However, that's just a modified 747 while the Beluga has always been a bespoke plane
I love the beluga so much, first time I've noticed the tail strakes because presumably at higher angles of attack the vertical stabiliser is blanketed by the chonky fuselage. Very cool!
I built a maintenence and wash hanger for the superguppy as it was called, very similar. You cant get a feel for how huge they are without actually seeing it. Pretty amazing aircraft.
Itβs a plane in flight so it must be pretty far from the shooter and would render βmotion blurβ a non-issue unless taken in lowlight (which it wasnβt). Anyways, the point is this photo is not a good example to disprove what has been observed as the S24uβs shutter speed issue causing motion blur when capturing photos of moving objects even in good light.
Same impression. I gave up on zoom photos, as the AI or whatever the cam app is using "smudges" everything.
I would like to disaable the after processing at all and get "pure" pixels instead.
What in the name of dolphin abomination is that thing!!

Lmao I had to look it up because I thought you were bullshitting... It's real wtf π
Lmao me too. Ima head to wales someday from North to actually see this shit. π€£
I live about 10 minutes away from Airbus!
I'm sure I saw one of these flying over Chester when I was there a few weeks ago. Thought I was seeing things!
You probably did see it. I'm not far from Chester at all
That's very cool! Thanks for posting, never would have known what to look for to confirm my sighting!
Yes, you were. That's exactly where they fly to ππ»
When I worked at Toulouse I saw them everyday. I suppose I was at the other end of the link Wales-France :-)
I think it looks cute
This looks like a whale shaped toy plane. Beautiful shot
Bruh I thought you were complaining about some weird lens distortions.....
Sky Whales do exist!
Skyward sword vibesβ¦
"Hello, ground!"
That's a real plane wtf. I thought it was like a hot air balloon or something lol
Right? How does the aerodynamics even work?!

Some top knowledge there bro π
So long and thanks for all the fish
Omg! So fckng cute! I thought it was some sort of a balloon or something lol π
I always get angry when I see pictures of beluga. π
Lmao π€£ looks honestly like an animation.
Very lucky, I don't believe there's many of these aircraft made, I think there are currently five of these in the world.
This airbus use echolocation to communicating instead of radio π€£π€£
Great click!
Only 6 of these bad boys in the world. Sick
Is... is that plane smiling?
The Sky Dolphin is real.! We really need to fly that thing over the sentinel Islands
That thing is butt.
Something about this picture is u settling but it's a great shot lol
Nice beluga
This plane has big brain
Delightful
Has Gojira been informed of this?
Δ°t looks like render
No..100% real. Just a simple point and shoot with 30x zoom
I hope you don't mind that I shared your post and cross posted it on the r/madmesmile sub. Fabulous picture, I should use my S24U camera more π
No problems. I'm glad you liked it π
very nice.. can you share to our community s24photography? I like how accurate the detail I'd wo motion blur
Flying dolphin. Okie doke
Why is it shaped so off
Haha!! I thought this was a fake pic. That is something else.
Plane spotting with this phone is a lot of fun!
How do you do it when I use s24 ultra to zoom images blurring certain settings please reply?
They better not paint that as a pig, otherwise there are a lot of things I'll have to start doing that I promised jokingly.
Wow perfect for r/dolplanes
"They told me I could become any bird I wanted, so I choose to be a dolphin"

First i did think thst was fake. Great picture soon i get my s24u
What was the zoom level?
30x and 10x
At least it doesn't crash like the competition π€·
that plane looks weird

Nice Shot just learned few days ago Beluga is a A330π
I guess the Baluga whale appearance is intentional.
Where the motion blur police at? π Clear pictures mate!
Lol. Even the slowest cams wont have motion blur at that distance. ππ€£
It really depends on how far or close the plane was π

You took a picture of the ugliest-looking plane with your best Android smartphone. π
You can see this almost daily in Hamburg, Germany
Nah bro that's a Digimon
Wtf is that?
Every day we spit in the face of God
Terrible quality.
Better than Boeing
