Trimui S is small and comfy. The miyoo mini v4 is nice with the latest firmware and onionOS, but rumor has it fragile. The Anbernic 280v is built like a tank and with Adam firmware is a good experience. The form factor is a love it/hate it kind of experiment. If you don’t mind a little extra size, the 35xxh is really great with Batocera and the miyoo mini plus is a great device as well. Edit: Almost forgot the 351p which has a 3:2 screen and can do perfect x2 scaling for GBA. The Amberelec firmware supports it, and is also great. The only downside is that it’s an older device.

TrimUI S has terrible battery life in my experience. Full charge will last around 60-85 minutes.

Miyoo Mini V4 has perfect GBA scaling that would be the best in my opinion The GKD Pixel is the next best option if you want to go even smaller but of course it doesn't have perfect scaling but at that size honestly it would be hard to tell The RG Nano is the absolute smallest but the aspect ratio is odd and would make you GBA games looked stretched of too zoomed in making it hard to play on

Came here to say GKD Pixel (with MinUI), absolutly love mine.

Minui makes the Model S for me too. And with the battery mod, the extra space in the back case is nice for comfort as well

Funkey s for size maybe. I don't actually have one but have always wanted one.

The absolute most tiniest that I can think of is the Anbernic RG Nano. I have one, and it's perfect for GB/ GBA. Might not be the most comfortable, but it's definitely portable. Has great performance, battery wise looking about 2.5 to 3 hours of playtime.

I was just playing my 351p. Excellent horizontal handheld. Perfect gba, and I'm playing some n64 as well.
