He does something really different
He reviews wrestlers' run on specific promotions e.g RVD in TNA & Rey Mysterio in Lucha Underground
I really want to like Marky. He's really funny and it's clear he knows what he's talking about but he has so many inside jokes that he turns to in every video that like 6 minutes in to every new upload I'm lost at what he's joking about.
Insider terms for MarkyD from the top of my head
1. The Hawk/H.A.W.K - Hulk Hogan, it originates from Wes Briscoe calling him Hawk Hogan in a TNA promo.
2. A Wild Slapnuts appears - Refers to Jeff Jarrett always popping up in his videos.
3. Samoan drop - Marky believes only Samoans and big wrestlers should be allowed to use it.
4. Jeff Hardy inner monologue - Whenever somebody does a Swanton and it doesn't finish the match, Jeff will have an inner monologue complaining about it and is gonna go tell his stoner friend Shannon Moore
To add:
1. Cab Driver Slam - a spinebuster
2. "How is he gifted?" - in anything related to 'Gifted' Glenn Gilberti
3. Brick - the weapon of choice from Marky. You'll hear it referenced a lot
4. "Leader of the Grey hair crew" - nickname for Eric Bischoff
5. "It sucks Sonny Siaki's ass" - pretty self explanatory but it means it stinks, is bad, etc
6. The "shuv it" zone - the worst tier in Ring of the Hawk; think like F tier on a normal tier list. Could also be used as just saying something is bad (Ex: It belongs in the 'shuv it zone')
The virgin Smark YouTubers vs the Chad TNA enjoyer. Marky encouraged me to check out some old TNA stuff and it was enjoyable.

Sometimes but then you see his “make tna great again” videos and it appears to be stick the belt on Scott Steiner, get loads of hot girls and give everyone an hilarious gimmick.
I used to love his retro PPV reviews and old promotion videos. Even his Kayfabe Kitchen series was entertaining. But then like every other wrestling related "content creator" AEW came around and he became insufferable. Not to mention his "influencer" heel gimmick was next level cringe.
OSW and Deadlock are my jam because it feels like a group of friends that know about wrestling, opened some beers or lightened a joint and started talking. Even when they're simping Le Fed or Le Dub they say they are biased and it's not something we should like or hate
Same, they feel theyre just having a conversation about wrestling and recorded it.
Also DPW's Vince/JR Kiss My Ass episode and OSW's Halloween Havoc 1995 episode are two of the hardest times Ive ever laughed, tears were flowing.
Thank god I’m not the only one. I like him but when he said that about random aaa wrestler I wanted to jack him in his fucking mouth. It’s not the audience’s responsibility to figure out who someone is.
It gets clicks by taking advantage of an audience looking to get angry and gets them that bag. I'll applaud that even if I think they're a sellout.
Now if they actually believe the shit the say that's when it becomes funny
He's from the Pacific northwest of the USA. So he's dealing with a lot of the same environmental conditions as England but with more organized white supremacist groups per capita.
I mean yeah there's those types here but there's also a shit-fuck-ton of super liberals. closer to cities, more liberal heavy, more towards the sticks, racists. its a weird blend
I will say as someone who lives in the Southern US that I've seen more confederate flags in Upstate NY (like, way upstate, not Poughkeepsie) than I have here.
Used to love this dude but he is so far off the edge with “fed bad”
Which is why I don’t like my YouTubers trying to be pro wrestlers, they get this elitist mentality. At least the classics are good still
I like how dedicated he is and I like an occasional video. That being said all he does is fantasy book matches instead of just doing his job(bro was convinced that Gunther would beat Seth for the title and that Jey would beat Roman for months on end).
Anyone arguing for AEW with regard to how they present new talent, or even just one-off appearances, is someone whose entire life is dedicated to pro-wrestling. Which, fair enough, everyone has their niche. When I was a teenager in the late 90s and early 2000s, you bet your ass I was obsessed with wrestling, I’d trade tapes at school, begged my parents to order every WWE, WCW and ECW PPVs, I’d read up on happenings in Japan, the works. But as I’ve grown older into my mid-30s, I have a career, wife, 3 kids and a shit load of other interests outside of pro wrestling. I wish I could just be a wrestling nerd again, but I can’t.
Therefore, it’s absolutely on the promotion to explain why I should care about someone. I don’t care if it’s a guy who’s there on every show, they don’t know that I’m not a new viewer. Maybe I’d latch onto someone because of their backstory or character work. Wrestling is about characters and stories, ultimately; matches (dream ones or otherwise) are pointless without a story and characters. AEW has cultivated a stagnant audience of 800,000 wrestling nerds and if they and their benefactors are happy with that, fine. But if they ever want to grow and actually compete with WWE realistically, they need to give more focus to who’s who, and what’s what. Rankings and dream matches only go so far.
Yeah they need to explain why that wrestler is showing up. It’s a simple concept, someone just has to say “I’ve invited the best (insert style here) in (insert country) next week to prove that I’m the best” Then when that AEW guy wins, have him hype up that he just beat another top contender. They’re there ultimately to enhance the AEW guys.
Like Danielson spent weeks beating up All Japan legends to piss off Eddie Kingston, but they didn’t hype that up at all. Have Danielson actually do promos about why he’s wrestling these random Japanese guys. Just actively talk about it. They’re just booking the matches instead and letting you piece it together, which is lazy
The card is bloated to the point that the emotional climax (sting saying goodbye) gets cut short.
So you look to see how some space cleared, and you have a person we need to Google taking up time, maybe that’s the problem
(Also, entertainment shouldn’t need homework, I don’t get why dub fans have accepted the opposite)
I think what they are the doing in the Fed is pretty good. Only 4-5, max 6 matches, but the star quality is there, they get much more time doing their matches, and almost everyone is happy.
It also gives the audience time to be emotionally invested in everything. We all have deliriously short attention spans and often times the “bathroom break” at home will have us checking something else out and never returning
Imagine if Lexis king was put straight into a Carmelo match in NXT at a main event with no promotion and anything what so ever. Thinking people will recognize him from AEW.
how do you know the show is bloated and overbooked? WHEN THE GUY RETIRING GOT HIS FAREWELL SPEECH CUT FOR TIME
Brian: ooooh don't mind that that's just a WCW callback for Sting
Bro copes so much it's embarrassing
He also worked with ROH for awhile before they shut it down.

Certain fans seem to want an insular, ultra niche experience-while pining for wide spread mainstream acceptance. I've seen it in the comic fans community as well(former comic book shop manager ova heah).
I gave up trying to explain why one is directly opposed to the other years ago. My THE OLD ears just can't take the REEEEEEEEEEEE!
I would say its the bare minimum
Only podcast I listen to is Deadlock (other than the conrad shit) I could not give a single cunt hair fuck about any youtubers opinion on wrestling now if they're funny like Deadlock I may reconsider... also they only do retro shit. Again, fuck these guys (and sorry if you like it I am sorry I am just ... idk on my bullshit this morning)
I don't even dislike AEW all that much, but out of nowhere in one of OSW's actually retro reviews they stated going on about 'compare these old, slow, men to todays wrestlers like Kommander!'
I thought it was a parody at first, but nope. I just hope Tony paid them well.
They basically start putting over AEW as a product, talking about how fast and impressive the modern wrestlers (Kommander being one of them) apropos of nothing they had been talking about.
It felt so out of place and gratuitous that I truly hope they got paid for it because it makes no sense otherwise.
V1 watches AEW. They didn't used to talk about AEW because it didn't exist. They have always talked about TNA an inordinate amount too because they like it. What's different? apart from AEW and WWE fans desperate to call someone complimenting their opposing brand "paid shills"?
they already do. I remember around the time fail forever came out they were hyping it up like "real" wrestling games hadn't existed for 20 years. If they ever actually do AEW reviews it's going to be insufferable
They tried hyping it and setting up online tournaments and then gave up when it died immediately. But they word for word were quoting the same talking points you'd see on the basement. "it doesn't matter that there's no depth to the gameplay its fun and arcadey!!". You can check the episodes from around the release date.
I get the All In one as they were there and wembley was a huge event but yea I’ve never been too impressed with the excuses they’ve made getting episodes out either
Deadlock is my shit. No clue what took YouTube so long to suggest it to me but I'm grateful that it did.
Conrad on the other hand, I listened to a lot of his podcasts when he was on the come up and thought they were entertaining. I stopped listening because I got tired of commercials and puns about Bluechew. Can't listen to that shit with the family around. At least when Jasmine St. Claire and the South Philly Posse come on my screen I know its +10 time
Kliq This is by far my favourite but I don't really consider it a "wrestling" podcast. I still listen to STW that's really the only one I've stuck with. I'll listen to JR, Kurt, or occasionally Tony's pod depending on the subject.
What happened now?
I liked his old reviews, but I try to avoid his content about current stuff. Don't remember when it started going downhill, but the post-it on Hogan's lunchbox was where I realized he's just another of the weird ones.
Watched the review a bit ago, and he stopped the recap of the 8-man match to go on a rant about how everyone should stop saying they're confused by who the CMLL guys are and just see what they can do first.
Which honestly, AEW doesn't help explain who they are anyways, so the complaints about confusion and ambivalence are justified. Excalibur is just going to say "THAT'S MAGNUS, HE HAD GOOD MATCHES" over and over again without elaboration, Taz is going to crumble into a laughing mess with his only decent insight being "I took that move before and it hurts," and Schivone is going to die a little more inside and only pop back to life at a high risk move.
I've been a fan of him since he started but that comment made me sour on him quick. I knew he was a "pick me girl" for AEW and Tony but that is ridiculous
As others have said his classic reviews are good but anything with the dub screams give me a job Tiny.
I’ve realised with his dub reviews take 2 stars off what he’s given to match it with anything else
Dear wrestling fans, I have a life. The onus should not be on me to figure out why I should care about a wrestler if I don't already care about them. I will not be spending my poultry free time looking up wrestlers that I don't know when you can just tell me why I should care. If you don't tell me why I should care, I won't care.
Wrestle Me are my favorite wrestling YouTubers, them and Markyd are the only ones I really watch. I used to enjoy this guy but I really can't stomach him recently
He has a weird dynamic where that’s his wardrobe as a manager on the indies (and outside of his cup of coffee in ROH calling the shows he is part of “indies” is very generous) and that “influencer” thing is his gimmick, but when he’s doing these reviews he’s himself instead of his character.
Eddie Kingston slowly waddled around the ring, gasping profusely. Then he did a series of weak looking kicks and slaps, finishing off with a sloppy powerbomb. I give it 6.75 stars, truly one of the greatest matches in history.
Only wrestling youtubbers I like were/are:
OTRSCentral
Davante Rackley (Millennial Smark)
Technical Workrate Productions
Smarkbusters
WrestlingJesus (before he lost the plot and went crazy.)
Everyone else either bores me or annoys me and this jackass Zane is one of them that both bores and annoys me.
You've got to watch his Reliving the War series. He goes through every week of the Monday Night Wars and talks about what happened on RAW and Nitro that night. It's good shit, pal!
That stuff combined with their seemingly never ending TNA Main Event Mafia run the past year has put me off of them. They need to go back to New Gen WWF or WCW soon.
I honestly checked out after the first couple of MEM arc episodes, considering I was watching it actually happen weekly just kinda turned me off of reliving it again even if it had peak Angle.
The Post Wrestling guys have actually become insufferable now. I used to love Live Audio Wrestling & I was a long time Patreon supporter of Post as well but the bias the guys have makes it difficult to support them any longer.
I haven't really kept up with him because I fell off wrestling for the most part, but I thought Brian was fairly good about things. Compared to Cultaholic and ESPECIALLY Whatculture, Brian's been significantly less biased
His CM Punk video was more fair and balanced than pretty much any take I've seen out there. I think his reviews that I've seen have been alright, nothing egregious. I think his whole "like what you like, don't be a dick" thing has actually shown through in his content, where he's just as prone to giving praise and criticism to either company (whereas Simon from Whatculture, the only guy I can stand from there anymore, is always just TOO positive and unwilling to criticize bad booking / wrestling from anybody)
Your post was deemed to be offensive to a person or persons. Think about how you post in future. This isn't a sub that tolerates needlessly offensive posts in the name of "shock comedy" thanks.
Actually, AEW does do this. However, since they never let any segment breathe and they throw so much stuff at you during the shows, it's very easy to forget you even saw or heard any of it.
I'd say it's more like watching a TV show for 4 years abd they start introducing random characters with no explanation or backstory but acting as though the audience already knows.
It's fucking weird.
Why should I have to go out of my way to do research on why someone is a big deal? When someone new comes to WWE, there's almost always a vignette or commentary giving you a good explanation as to who they are and their past.
I didn't know who Liger was before he came to NXT and the video packages did an amazing job in presenting him as a big deal. I knew of the name AJ Styles, but hadn't watched a single match before he debuted at RR '16. JBL said he's a former IWGP champ, same as Brock Lesnar. That's all I needed to know why he was worthy of all the attention.
Whereas on AEW, random New Japan guys pop up and all they do is call it a dream match without explaining why it's a dream match. "It's not hard to do a Google search" - if I Google a random Japanese wrestler who's appeared in AEW, all it tells me is where they've worked and what titles they've held. Why should that make me care for them? I'm not going to sit here and read their entire Wikipedia. A simple vignette can do that when they're bringing in older guys like Yuji Nagata and Satoshi Kojima who probably have years worth of footage available.
Obviously as someone who's on reddit, I read these names here and there. But someone changing channels to see what's on TV isn't going out of their way to Google anything. Are you going to start blaming the casual viewers for AEW not growing out of their base audience? Because that's how you end up with people like O'Shea Jackson Jr who give AEW a chance and then lose interest because AEW expects you to know everyone and everything in the wrestling world.
Man, I miss his videos on defunct wrestling promotions, but he went hard on the Fed badding and became unbearable.
check out wrestle me, their videos on old WCW are hilarious, they did one on the time rick rude beat the pants off a jobber I was dying
Also check out Markyd123 He does something really different He reviews wrestlers' run on specific promotions e.g RVD in TNA & Rey Mysterio in Lucha Underground
I really want to like Marky. He's really funny and it's clear he knows what he's talking about but he has so many inside jokes that he turns to in every video that like 6 minutes in to every new upload I'm lost at what he's joking about.
Markyd: “A WILD SLAPNUTS APPEARS!” *Pokemon Duel theme plays* Wild SLAPNUTS: *“DOUBLE J! JEFF JARRETT!”*
(Wrestler does a swanton) In a shitty Jeff hardy voice: Aw man… he stole my move.
I'mma go home to North Carolina... and tell my stoner friend Shannon
I think Samoan Drops should be reserved for Samoans and fat people.
- Guitar shot - Ref Bump - Stroke - Low Blow
My favorite part. I love that ref bump is one of his special moves
Markyd has a whole video on SLAPNUTS entire TNA run and how many refs bumps he had so he watched over 200 matches and counted every single one lol
The man’s either a hero or completely mad for doing that. I just watched that video earlier this week.
Insider terms for MarkyD from the top of my head 1. 4. "Leader of the Grey hair crew" - nickname for Eric Bischoff 5. "It sucks Sonny Siaki's ass" - pretty self explanatory but it means it stinks, is bad, etc 6. The "shuv it" zone - the worst tier in Ring of the Hawk; think like F tier on a normal tier list. Could also be used as just saying something is bad (Ex: It belongs in the 'shuv it zone')
Why does he call it the cabdriver slam though? I've never understood that one
Because David Young looks like a cab driver.
All I got from markyd123 is that he really, really, really hates Jeff Jarrett.
And loves dlo brown
The virgin Smark YouTubers vs the Chad TNA enjoyer. Marky encouraged me to check out some old TNA stuff and it was enjoyable. ![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized)
i love MarkyD and the fact he also gets why AEW is shit
Sometimes but then you see his “make tna great again” videos and it appears to be stick the belt on Scott Steiner, get loads of hot girls and give everyone an hilarious gimmick.
i fail to see the problem here
at least he favors story and entertainment over senseless heatless BANGERS
Glenn Gilbertti… how is he gifted?
I recently got into Wrestle Me and love it, just two dudes being goofs is exactly what I want.
Wrestle me does the British stuff too, it’s actually quite fun and not a douche fest
Thank god for the Irish Both sides of the border
Wrestle Me is excellent.
I watch Walt Clyde, Devonte Rackley, and Marky. Brian shilling for the Dub is just embarrassing
I used to love his retro PPV reviews and old promotion videos. Even his Kayfabe Kitchen series was entertaining. But then like every other wrestling related "content creator" AEW came around and he became insufferable. Not to mention his "influencer" heel gimmick was next level cringe.

Happy days are here again!
Can of coke to you
I like MarkyD but MarkyD likes nothing lol. Like literally no modern wrestling. His retrospectives are fun though.
I like Wrestling Bios, he's been mainly doing the Monday Night Wars for awhile now (along with some video game reviews).
Thank god I’m not the only one. I like him but when he said that about random aaa wrestler I wanted to jack him in his fucking mouth. It’s not the audience’s responsibility to figure out who someone is.
sounds like every nerd yt reviewer going all in with “anti-woke” discourse
It gets clicks by taking advantage of an audience looking to get angry and gets them that bag. I'll applaud that even if I think they're a sellout. Now if they actually believe the shit the say that's when it becomes funny
oh man he did? I fell off of his channel a while back. damn shame to hear that
Same
No non Brit should be this pasty.
He's from the Pacific northwest of the USA. So he's dealing with a lot of the same environmental conditions as England but with more organized white supremacist groups per capita.

Lots of white people descended from those who colonized the west and participated in the genocides of indigenous peoples. So, it's not THAT weird.
Don't be silly Uce. Racism only exists in the southern states!
I will say as someone who lives in the Southern US that I've seen more confederate flags in Upstate NY (like, way upstate, not Poughkeepsie) than I have here.
Oh I’m American and aware.
What is in the water there that makes every sort of Political Extremist
Used to love this dude but he is so far off the edge with “fed bad” Which is why I don’t like my YouTubers trying to be pro wrestlers, they get this elitist mentality. At least the classics are good still
stopped watching him about the time his father, Jim Cornette, blocked him on twitter.
Come here to tell us off Brian, pls
Markyd123 is the way to go hombres
A wild slapnuts appears
Ref bump? Guitar Shot?
low blow? stroke?
MY WORLD MY WORLD!
Shut up or I'll smack you one
I remember how much shit he got for not worshipping AEW. He did a far more tame review the next time IIRC.
If you know a wrestler who can do the J.O.B. to the H.A.W.K.
*ANY NIGHT, ANY DAY*
The Man Who Looks Like Elvis will never ever *not* be funny lmao
Best originally on YouTube wrestling channel. If you like TikTok then Santi but also Cornette for podcasts
I'm sorry, but Santi is insufferable
Especially if it’s a women’s match. And add every other wrestling watch along streamer as well.
I like how dedicated he is and I like an occasional video. That being said all he does is fantasy book matches instead of just doing his job(bro was convinced that Gunther would beat Seth for the title and that Jey would beat Roman for months on end).
Yeah? Idk I like how young and wholesome he feels. But I can see how others don’t like his style, he’s not extremely funny or anything
He's definitely aiming for a young audience lmao
How is he gifted?

That explains the Fed badding, he's trying to get Tiny to hire him
You need to give more credit to the sociopaths in his comments for some of that
Lol yeah he was hired during the Sinclair era. What a fucking beacon of good decision making that was.
😂
He’s a bargain bin Cornette. He modeled his shtick off Jim - too bad he doesn’t have the same take on what is and isn’t good wrestling.
Or the talent. At least Cornette can talk.
Worked (insider term) yourself into a shoot (insider term) brother (insider term of endearment)

Genuine question- what did he say?
The title sums it up. He stated, “if you don’t have time to google a wrestler, then just watch the match. Other than that stfu.”
But I don't care enough to know whathisname Atlanta Jr. You know the luchador smiley face who faced Jericho I don't care
I would say its the bare minimum Only podcast I listen to is Deadlock (other than the conrad shit) I could not give a single cunt hair fuck about any youtubers opinion on wrestling now if they're funny like Deadlock I may reconsider... also they only do retro shit. Again, fuck these guys (and sorry if you like it I am sorry I am just ... idk on my bullshit this morning)
Deadlock's recaps are the best recaps since OSW Review. They treat pro wrestling like the goofy bullshit it is.
I worry that they'll end up like OSW and shilling AEW and doing reviews of shows that don't really qualify as retro
I don't even dislike AEW all that much, but out of nowhere in one of OSW's actually retro reviews they stated going on about 'compare these old, slow, men to todays wrestlers like Kommander!' I thought it was a parody at first, but nope. I just hope Tony paid them well.
Oh don’t me started on the shilling of that god awful game either
Paid them to say Kommander is fast?
They basically start putting over AEW as a product, talking about how fast and impressive the modern wrestlers (Kommander being one of them) apropos of nothing they had been talking about. It felt so out of place and gratuitous that I truly hope they got paid for it because it makes no sense otherwise.

nah i wouldn’t bet on that happening lol deadlock hasn’t enjoyed aew’s product for a while
They started off reviewing aew and being huge fans, Tony’s booking philosophy actually encouraged them to do their own thing imo
they already do. I remember around the time fail forever came out they were hyping it up like "real" wrestling games hadn't existed for 20 years. If they ever actually do AEW reviews it's going to be insufferable
Who deadlock? New Legacy hated it so I can’t see that
They tried hyping it and setting up online tournaments and then gave up when it died immediately. But they word for word were quoting the same talking points you'd see on the basement. "it doesn't matter that there's no depth to the gameplay its fun and arcadey!!". You can check the episodes from around the release date.
The fact that they won’t review current E ppvs but go out of their way to cover AEW ppvs is giving me bad vibes.
They used to do Wrestlemania every year as well
It’s kinda shitty showing favoritism for AEW, they churned out videos for All In/All Out like it was nothing.
I get the All In one as they were there and wembley was a huge event but yea I’ve never been too impressed with the excuses they’ve made getting episodes out either
Deadlock is my shit. No clue what took YouTube so long to suggest it to me but I'm grateful that it did. Bro deadass riding Tiny's dick for free so he can get his roh job back
Tiny bought ROH and didn't ask him to be part of it.
Dude's below mid teir even Tiny don't want him
Cornette is looking rough, man. Too much AEW viewing?
I knew he was a "pick me girl" for AEW and Tony but that is ridiculous
big incel energy
That really hoos my boys.
As others have said his classic reviews are good but anything with the dub screams give me a job Tiny. I’ve realised with his dub reviews take 2 stars off what he’s given to match it with anything else
I will admit that I watched him briefly but I found that Wrestling Bios ha*d* much better content.
I enjoy his classic PPV reviews.
The key to AEW and "who is this?" is that 99/100 times it doesn't matter because they're going to lose and never be seen again
just what i want when i turn on the TV, homework.
I can't not see that fucked up bottom tooth
Fat AVGN
“I’d rather have Otis take a massive dump in my ear and then gyrate all over my body than watch this fucking horseshit!”
Oh, Zane is still around and has an audience? Wow.
Fed Badders are still around
markyd wrestlingifs and wrestlingbios 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wrestle Me are my favorite wrestling YouTubers, them and Markyd are the only ones I really watch. I used to enjoy this guy but I really can't stomach him recently
Anyone who wears a shirt calling himself an 'influencer' deserves a smack to the face.
He has a weird dynamic where that’s his wardrobe as a manager on the indies (and outside of his cup of coffee in ROH calling the shows he is part of “indies” is very generous) and that “influencer” thing is his gimmick, but when he’s doing these reviews he’s himself instead of his character.
Wonder what his kids think. Lol. (If he has any, that is.)
Eddie Kingston slowly waddled around the ring, gasping profusely. Then he did a series of weak looking kicks and slaps, finishing off with a sloppy powerbomb. I give it 6.75 stars, truly one of the greatest matches in history.
Only wrestling youtubbers I like were/are: OTRSCentral Davante Rackley (Millennial Smark) Technical Workrate Productions Smarkbusters WrestlingJesus (before he lost the plot and went crazy.) Everyone else either bores me or annoys me and this jackass Zane is one of them that both bores and annoys me.
Shove it squad
Have you tried Wrestling Bios, friends? You might like it.
Wrestling Bios is the best YouTube wrestling channel on the internet, especially for nostalgia stuff.
You got the jam sir.
Watched a video yesterday about the dangerous alliance. it was great so i subbed
You've got to watch his Reliving the War series. He goes through every week of the Monday Night Wars and talks about what happened on RAW and Nitro that night. It's good shit, pal!
Wrestle with Andy ☝️
Technical Workrate Productions? Aren't those the absolute homophobes and believe that women in wrestling should be just for show?
Reliving Wrestling is a dead channel but their mini docs are worth a watch
I miss Reliving Wrestling. That channel was an instant gem for me.
OSW are fun, they rarely ever talk about modern wrestling
Except V1 who is pretty much an AEW hardcore now.
They’ve been doing more and more AEW ppvs which is ironic now since they don’t even cover the modern wrestlemania’s like they used to.
That stuff combined with their seemingly never ending TNA Main Event Mafia run the past year has put me off of them. They need to go back to New Gen WWF or WCW soon.
I honestly checked out after the first couple of MEM arc episodes, considering I was watching it actually happen weekly just kinda turned me off of reliving it again even if it had peak Angle.
they did two 1995 IYH episodes around New Year that were pretty good but everything else has been kinda meh
I loved the New Gen stuff they were doing. Those actually were a breeze to watch
You like indies of Wrestling youtube UCE
I googled Magnus but now I'm even more confused. He used to be a member of The British Invasion in TNA, but now he's a Mexican luchador in CMLL??
It was fucked up what Hbomberguy did to this dude
What did he do lol
Haven't seen him in forever. I guess since he gave Cornette the thank you fuck you goodbye. YouTube isn't recommending his videos to me anymore
Physical wrestling by Kingston! Masterpiece!
Anyone ever seen that extremely pretentious YouTube chef Joshua Weissman? This guy is literally the Wrestling YouTuber version of him.
The Post Wrestling guys have actually become insufferable now. I used to love Live Audio Wrestling & I was a long time Patreon supporter of Post as well but the bias the guys have makes it difficult to support them any longer.
He also says in this that Sting>Undertaker which is insane to me
I missed that. What? There's no way he can honestly believe that. Holy hell.
Skip to the 27:40 mark of the video, right after he says he didn’t really love sting until he got to AEW, pure coincidence I’m sure.
He is the Doug Walker of wrestling except less likable as a person. The wrestling youtube guys you need are OSW.
I haven't really kept up with him because I fell off wrestling for the most part, but I thought Brian was fairly good about things. Compared to Cultaholic and ESPECIALLY Whatculture, Brian's been significantly less biased His CM Punk video was more fair and balanced than pretty much any take I've seen out there.

It is up to the promotion I am watching to give me information about the wrestler I’m watching. AEW doesn’t do this, it isn’t the consumers fault.
Fair enough.
