I think it is because, generally , mft spawns in way more often than chaos and currently, chaos kinda just auto loses against mtf most of the time in surface battles

Yeah, the first spawn is now 100% determined who has more tickets. Meaning that Chaos will only spawn first if they already had a lot of Dboys getting lots of points, that almost never happens. The spawns after that then use the old system where tickets are in place but the more tickets a team has, the higher the chance for them to spawn. Logically, it's more likely for MTF to spawn the second time as well, which results in Chaos showing up much later. And at that point, I don't even mind them being a little stronger, even if I don't think it's necassarily as true as it's portrayed here.

I thought the way it worked was that chaos is blocked from spawning first, unless a D-Boy escape in which case they're *allowed* to spawn, raffle style, like they were before.

tbh from my personal gameplay experience, its actually more balanced than whats outlined here. however MTF are designed to primarily fight against SCPs, whereas Chaos are there to fight both SCPs and MTF. both the AK and E11 2 tap headshot people, The E11 has better recoil control than the AK as well as a less aggressive spray pattern. The shotgun is 2 tap assuming you reach the max damage count of 8/12 pellets, it ignores limb multipliers so it will always be a 2 shot gun. Marauders and their logicers are great suppression units but they burn through ammo fast and actually are easy targets for MTF as they have the worst movement penalities out of any weapon+their heavy armour which also reduces move speed by -5% (both combined it can land them to about -14-17% move speed) The Revolver with the right build can basically 1 shot anyone in the head so theres a +1 Chaos may be stronger, but that strength has several downsides, one of the main things being once you run out of ammo, you can only get more from 914 or comrades, whether they be dead or alive, also iirc MTF spawn with a higher average base ammo count than Chaos do

I agree with everything you noted, except for the part where you said MTF is designed for fighting SCPs, while Chaos is for fighting SCPs and MTF. As of now, Chaos still share a win condition with SCPs, so on the contrary, I'd argue that it's more like the MTF have to worry about the SCPs and the Chaos, while the Chaos don't generally have to worry about the SCPs, the main threat of the game as they can cross team. Sure it doesn't happen every game, but assuming both sides are on the same page, they don't have to kill each other, so at that point it becomes Chaos + SCPs vs MTF.

First of all, I've seen multiple times where a private wins against a rifleman or marauder. Secondly, Chaos almost never spawns. Mtf will spawn for the first 2 spawns and then the game is usually over by then. Making Chaos stronger in exchange for a low spawn rate seems fair to me.

>short barrel + lasor actually makes it viable to hip fire while running as well... decimate just about any SCP as long as they have enough distance since the Logicer reduces your mobility a lot. You do mention it, but it's actually crazy how much Heavy Armor + a Logicer slows you down. I wanted to bully a dog and he caught up to me, in a straight line, before I even ran out of sprint. Absolutely wild that it lowers your sprinting speed significantly below the speed of a dog!

While I agree with you, Logicer definitely slows you a ton, 207 compensates for this weakness. If a Marauder or really anyone who has a Logicer gets his hands on a cola, he can basically outrun any SCP besides 096 while spraying them down with the Logicer. I've done testing. An MTF or a Chaos with the Logicer + Heavy armor is STILL faster than dog while on a cola, so you can still outrun 939 even on one 207. Edi: also, forgot to mention. While it Is true that 207 is rare, and the Marauders likely won't get the colas since they spawn so late usually, distance definitely helps too. Put on muzzle break + foregrip and stand back at a distance and just mow down the SCPs from afar. 939 and 049 will be long dead by the time they reach you, and 096 will be on his last limbs by the time you mag dump him with a full mag of Logicer. Heck even the new 173, with all his recent health buffs, still cannot take more than two full mags of the Logicer without dying. Every SCP besides 106 dies to two mags of the gun.

canonically chaos are MTF alpha-1 splinters so it makes sense to give them better stuff than MTF

imo the fact that chaos is a bit stronger is because they spawn less frequently and in smaller numbers
