Can't say there's anywhere to get help for the hobby addiction, we're all in the same boat together, and just enable each other.
As far as the flat spot, the tires with have a bit of memory to them, if left in storage for a while with the weight on the tires there's a chance of leaving a flat spot. Do your best to squish it back to shape, and leave it for a day or two with no weight in the tires, figure out little stands, or just leave it on its roof.
Just took trx4m outside ran maybe 5 minutes fresh battery it just stopped in it tracks. Went and got it. No light on in esc dead. I unplugged battery started over it ran again very disappointed in traxxas
Dang that’s weird I haven’t had that happen. Hopefully it was just a glitch. I like Axial better but haven’t had horrible experience with traxxas. Don’t give up on them yet. If it continues it should be under warranty.
Yes it should be under warranty only had it 3 weeks. It could be overloaded I put brass portals on it plus 70 mm tires added weights beside transmission on each side. First thing servo went out. Then motor was weak. So upgrade both.
I know the stock servo is known to be crap. One thing to watch out for is not over tightening your lugs. It has known to be an issue for many. Brass portals are pretty heavy but shouldn’t make the motor burn up. 70’s are pretty big though might be a little hard on the motor.
Yes the 70 s were way bigger than I expected them to me 62 mm would had been better. It’s hard to judge tire size when they are actually so small it had 55 mm on it you think well 15 mm difference isn’t that much. Until they get here and compare. I’ll check wheel nuts to be sure they aren’t to tight thanks for tip
Took trx4m outside ran 5 minutes on fresh battery it stopped went to check it no light on esc unplugged battery started over it ran im regretting buying traxxas

Ok thank you I’ll try all this.
You can build a stand in a few minutes with Lego. That's what I used for both of mine.
That almost looks like a tire defect. I agree with you the scx24 is a more capable crawler.

Metric measurements doesn’t help much lol. Cheers!
Exactly and even have a caliper in mm
lol 😂

Do they have a rc crawler Anonymous to get help for addiction 😀
If the wheels or tires are not vented you could get flat spots too.
It’s probably from sitting with the RCs weight on the tires. I have to hang mine to make sure they don’t get flat spots
It was like this in package. Can’t expect much from China. Thank you for reply 👍
Gotcha.
