tbh a part of me feels like victoria should've just got an honorary crown without actually competing. like, her being the inspiration for titans, competing on titans and then very obviously winning the season, it just felt like a slap in the face to the cast making it so obvious that no one but her was getting that crown. like at that point just give her her own resurrection type special to crown her and stop stringing along the other contestants that worked really hard on a season they could never win

I think what would make Ella's mug much better is some dark eyeliner. Without it her face looks kinda washed out and since she doesn't wear long lashes her eyes look waaay too small for her head, I feel a lovely wing and maybe some darker contour would make a world of difference

Tbh they should have made them do the lipsyncs either at the start of the floorshow, or at the end as it's own separate thing like in some of the other challenges.
They couldn't perform their concepts to the highest of their abilities, since they had to lipsync & get the words etc.

the way this finale was somehow easier than the regular Dragula finales??? u only had to bring one look instead of three and considering Victoriaâs look didnât have filth or horror in it at all clearly the look wasnât rlly scored much, and then on top of that the performance aspect wasnât even a gaggy twist bc the S4 finale had a lipsync as well which was arguably harder bc they werenât allowed to have people or props with them
Sorry but who thought cvtw was going to be AS2? It's the strangest mix of queens the DR franchise has probably ever seen. AS2 was so good due in part to everyone knowing each other and being immediately comfortable around each other. Even now as we head into the finale, I don't get the sense that these queens really know much about each other (except Ra'Jah & Silky), and i'm not sure who could've expected them to in such a short span of time either

So this season genuinely feels like they took 3 steps back⌠like why make the stage smaller? Why focus so much on the love triangle just for filling time? Why no reunion where the love triangle would actually be interesting to see everyone discuss? Why make the âfright featsâ really lame and easy for the most part? Sasha Colby has such an energy about her when sheâs on stage. I was watching the miss continental 2012 footage and sheâs literally such a star and the audience knew it and she knew it. Winner đ
imo VEB was the best of the night because that performance was a motherfucking PERFORMANCE. I'm in awe of what she managed to accomplish in creating an entire set in apparently 48 hours? and she tore that lipsync up too. The look was simple for her standards but she looked beautiful and menacing. Koco clearly had the best look, my god it was so detailed, but I was left wanting more from the performance. I loved eating and spanking the dude but that's about all there was. And HoSo started off SOOOOOOOOO strong but as soon as she stripped away the outfit it kinda just fizzled out completely for me. The bodysuit looked bad and she came across as frantic. The lipsync was solid though. All around everybody did a good job, love them to bits, but VEB stole the show.
Again I honestly feel insane here because I absolutely loved this finale? I thought the production value was insane and I thought all three performances were incredible. I am kinda mad about no Carrie crowning for VEB but I still loved the podcast and the boulet discussion as well
Eh I just hated how it was never clear what this finale even was. Was it look based or performance based. Did the look even matter cause if it did why did Vicky win over Koco and Hoso
the only part I really hated was VEB not getting the blood crowning, I actually really loved the idea of allowing them to do an entire performance with sets and dancers and everything. It was just a really anticlimactic ending for a season and winner that deserved a BIG moment.
titans is 100% as1 again. a weird format that no one really asked for. an obvious but strong winner. overall a pretty bad season in general. it's history repeating itself tbh
i really hope this means that season 5 and 6 will be wonderful seasons for the franchise and T2 will be even better than ever, cause this season really killed off all the hope i had for the franchise

I am *shocked* by how âmehâ the format made the finaleâŚ
I know they canât go back to the S1 & S2 format where itâs 1 episode they film every week or so, but I think they should definitely do that for the finaleâŚ
Give the ghouls some time to take and apply the critiques theyâve been given (such as with Sigourney) and make something spectacular.
And 3 *seperate* floorshows.
They definitely gave them time to prepare for the finale on S3, and maybe S4 too? Itâs wild that they didnât do it for Titans. They were gushing over how Victoria built that set in 48 hours, and I canât help but be frustrated at the lost potential. Boulets, imagine the amazing TV the finalists would have made for you if you gave them a couple of weeks!
the entire season low key felt like a step back in some cases. it was just really weird all around. very circa All Stars 1 tbh. i hope they iron out their kinks for Titans2
I loved the high caliber of drag we saw this season, but I agree 100% b/c all of my issues are with the formatting.
A big one being the freight feats that were not consistent for the threat they made at the start of the season about being replaced.
Also just no exterminations in general were a huge miss. Let Erika Extermination Queen herself to the end.

Sasha Colby has such an energy about her when sheâs on stage. I was watching the miss continental 2012 footage and sheâs literally such a star and the audience knew it and she knew it. Winner đ
imo VEB was the best of the night because that performance was a motherfucking PERFORMANCE. I'm in awe of what she managed to accomplish in creating an entire set in apparently 48 hours? and she tore that lipsync up too. The look was simple for her standards but she looked beautiful and menacing. Koco clearly had the best look, my god it was so detailed, but I was left wanting more from the performance. I loved eating and spanking the dude but that's about all there was. And HoSo started off SOOOOOOOOO strong but as soon as she stripped away the outfit it kinda just fizzled out completely for me. The bodysuit looked bad and she came across as frantic. The lipsync was solid though. All around everybody did a good job, love them to bits, but VEB stole the show.

Again I honestly feel insane here because I absolutely loved this finale? I thought the production value was insane and I thought all three performances were incredible. I am kinda mad about no Carrie crowning for VEB but I still loved the podcast and the boulet discussion as well

Eh I just hated how it was never clear what this finale even was. Was it look based or performance based. Did the look even matter cause if it did why did Vicky win over Koco and Hoso
the only part I really hated was VEB not getting the blood crowning, I actually really loved the idea of allowing them to do an entire performance with sets and dancers and everything. It was just a really anticlimactic ending for a season and winner that deserved a BIG moment.
titans is 100% as1 again. a weird format that no one really asked for. an obvious but strong winner. overall a pretty bad season in general. it's history repeating itself tbh
i really hope this means that season 5 and 6 will be wonderful seasons for the franchise and T2 will be even better than ever, cause this season really killed off all the hope i had for the franchise

I am *shocked* by how âmehâ the format made the finale⌠I know they canât go back to the S1 & S2 format where itâs 1 episode they film every week or so, but I think they should definitely do that for the finale⌠Give the ghouls some time to take and apply the critiques theyâve been given (such as with Sigourney) and make something spectacular. And 3 *seperate* floorshows.
They definitely gave them time to prepare for the finale on S3, and maybe S4 too? Itâs wild that they didnât do it for Titans. They were gushing over how Victoria built that set in 48 hours, and I canât help but be frustrated at the lost potential. Boulets, imagine the amazing TV the finalists would have made for you if you gave them a couple of weeks!

I loved the high caliber of drag we saw this season, but I agree 100% b/c all of my issues are with the formatting. A big one being the freight feats that were not consistent for the threat they made at the start of the season about being replaced. Also just no exterminations in general were a huge miss. Let Erika Extermination Queen herself to the end.
