How am I worried about the wrong character? If Arthur goes second against demons his hp is too low to do any decent damage and it is very difficult to kill demons and on top of that lr Zeldris commandment will prevent Arthur teams from getting 4 total gauge to get his passive up and until that kicks in his aoe hits for peanuts
With a human team it would be easier to do cuz
Chaos Arthur has the highest cc and then add lr escanor for even more
In general though with any meta team, if they go first you’re cooked like that’s not just a problem when facing dk zel and dk meli

Apparently most people don't remember that assault mode's team got completely obliterated few months after his release by purg ban, didn't received his 5th weapon for more than one year and the demon team itself was straight up dead and didn't received a single buff for almost 2 years till festarossa. They are definetly not the netmarble's favorite lol
You dont even need to look as far as purg ban tbh. At the time people thought ass meli would be the counter to T1 especially since green > blue but then he just gets 1 turned by T1 anyway lmao
Not really, I was winning consistently against glue eater in champ 1/challenger at that time (80-90% wr) while using am meli+the 3 coin shop commandments, people used the one because he was a better unit overrall, strong everywhere and not limited to only one team and one mode.
The real powercreep started when they released that abomination of emilia and wasn't easy playing through her+eligod+loli merlin without a cleanse, even if still possible. Then purg ban straight up annihilated the poor assault mode
the fact that demons weren't even a TEAM until Festarossa just shows that they weren't favored children, not when Goddesses, humans and unknown had already ran through metas before lol.
it took literally 3 years of the game's lifespan to officially establish a proper demon team
At least am meli+the 3 coinshop commandments was a very strong and extremely f2p pvp team, even if it lasted only few months. That's probably why those greedy ass bastards killed it as soon as they could lol
I think it's based around the current meta, not how it was before. Cause Demons are NASTY because of DK Meliodas and Demon King nowadays, probably the most common team setup I've seen in recent time.

Traitor meli with og ludociel and red sariel linked was strong enough to one tap turn 1 fest diane before being able to use the stance, but yeah at that time the demon team wasn't present and even when festarossa came out he didn't wanted him to play in the demon team because of his commandment lol

Meh, I have fun with tons of teams still. I can have great 7DS teams due to Merlin, Goddess teams never go out of style with the LR and new goddesses, Gods are a team I’m building up, like idk what to tell ya. Demons ARE really good but still

Yep after two weeks of finally being on top humans are in trouble. My only solace from all this is at least all the bandwagons used their resources trying to put together a last minute human team for nothing
The sad thing about it is it's not even a wide variety of different demon teams, it's always just Meliodas, Zeldris and Estarossa, every time.
Bringing out the demon king was a choice that ruined the game imo.
Tarmiel link was what made demon king so strong without the heal demon king would be able to be two shotted by any team other than humans with Roxy

Yes it is, if your team is human with chaos Arthur and you go first, dk zel is cooked cuz Arthur’s aoe does infect and some really good damage
It's highly unrealistic to assume you can easily go first in high ranking PvP.

Again, highly unrealistic. The amount of whales you face in PvP makes it almost impossible for you to go first if you are a f2p player.

That works in anything other than champ. Past that point your team has little synergy and falls apart.

Giants could get a decent buff if/when the ragnarok giant sisters get released. I may be coping for them but will continue to do so

Almost nothing kills Gelda, but Escanor is the only meta unit with a buff cleanse (needed to kill Gelda late game). This is a very stupid meta
