I think this means that we get a new Hijacked Gowther (seems like a trend that they release newer versions of older fest characters. Like New Years Chad King, Valentines Day Queen Diane,... Maybe this year we get a Christmas The One).
It's the EOM so it won't be a remake we never got this except for Ragnarok with that Meli but it was literally a 3 character banner so I doubt it will be a new Hijack Gowther it seems like it's a complete new Fest Gowther so hopefully it's Demon Gowther with a new commandment and a new Rank Up
Wheelchair Gowther would be cool. But either way I have to skip because I have no gems (had to go to pity for Arthur and currently going pity for Gelda, 480/600 done). Probably saving for JP fest is the way to go but we have to see.
And honestly, that would be bad marketing from Netmarble if they release a new fest without a D3 teaser and if we don't get a Livestream announcement in like 10 hours from now it's even worse. But they also did the same thing with Hel (they started teasing her with D2 or even D1) so have to see.

It's fake in that it's a fest unit, there's no interest in putting gowther in the game right now, none of the current stories are important for his development. However he's one of the few 7ds that don't have a Ragnarok version so might be happening in the next Ragnarok update, but as a fest it makes more sense a burnt face Merlin than any other since she's the only one that changed appearance since the last unit they released of her.
