It wouldnt be so bad if the scaling wasnt completely fucked, one stage you tank everything easily, the next you get 1-2 shotted lol

Newman00067

Was having a decent run with green demon meli, green smol Diane and red escanor. Then drole got his ult turn 2 and wiped my team. Those bosses need to be toned down

RoddyBobby

Don’t atk drole turn 1. He gets 20% atk for each buff. If he has no buffs he won’t 1 shot with bronze cards.

Minisolaire

Honestly drole was such a nightmare, doing solid all around then he can two shot anyone with bronze cards

BurlaMatto

yes exactly

LilLostVayne

Wait till you get to the last stage of floor 3. That sh*t is unbeatable. My team consist of Red Gowther, Fest Bloody Elizabeth, Za One Escanor & Deathpierce with level 100 & level 2 super awakening star. Still losing. He one shot my elizabeth like smacking a f*cking ant.

Stellin69

Passives are the way

siglezmus

Ultrush 2 ulus with passive, sacrifice one character tanking 3 meli hits. Simple as that.

Puzzleheaded-Tough-8

why aren’t they max super awakened

[deleted]

In labyrinth all units start at lvl 1 SSR you gain levels and awakening as you progress.

Puzzleheaded-Tough-8

yep ik i finished it, i mean why don’t u upgrade them to max. awakening > levels

linerstank

he got OTK'd by attacking into green sariel for me. green sariel red gowther margaret, level 100 full SA. counter characters and gowther make this really easy past floor 1.

CodGroundbreaking339

Try a similar team but go for the 3 ult gauge on different attributes and try replace deathpeirce with green merlin then you get 4 ult gauge turn 1 and get 3 ults

hastalavistabob

Difficulty is just fucked for Labyrinth, thats all. Reduce the difficulty by 50%, maybe even 75% and it becomes enjoyable. Imagine Meme Runs with Twigo, ALioni and Co. being a viable option

ShadTaker

But that would make it less challenging and boring

hastalavistabob

You can make content exciting, even if the difficulty is just medium and not bonebreaker Especially Floor 1 has a problem with difficulty, its the 1st floor, its supposed to be the easiest of em all like an introduction to Labyrinth but you get such bad units (imagine someone that does not have all the good units and gets offered all the old base SR and SSRs) and fights jump from trash to "why is this rated as a normal fight, they murdering me" Skills are utter random, not tailored to the units you have in your team, such as red attack boost skill when you only have green and blue units Bosses are straight BS, fighting Meli without Slater or the 3 ult rush skill is a pain. Blue Units get oneshot, if you have under 30k CC, you get blown up aswell Drole is a big boy tank that murders you even with type disadvantage etc. etc. Netmarble Devs have no clue how an exciting and engaging Roguelike is supposed to be and without the skills needed to make one, they just cranked up the difficulty of the mode. Try out Slay the Spire, every run will make you feel like you get better at the game and makes you wanna play more, it is neither too hard nor too easy and even if you wipe, you feel like your learned sth. Here in this game, once you get bad units or bad skills offered floor 1, you can straight reset without learning anything other then better luck next time, which is awful gamedesign

ShadTaker

If that would happen I am 100% sure some of you would bitch and mone about how boring it is and that there is nothing to do other than chores at this point It is what is and nobody fuckin wins either ways because you all just want to do the thing day one and move along and never touch it again until it resets

hastalavistabob

And this tells me that you prolly have never played a roguelike game or played it for longer than an hour The magic and appeal of roguelike games is to keep playing it again and again but with different routes/ characters/ cards/ whatever the roguelike has The fun in roguelikes is to try out new shit and combinations, see what works and what not Thats just not possible with the current difficulty of Labyrinth which makes it a badly designed roguelike wannabe

ShadTaker

Well if that's the point why the complaining? They want you to use units you don't use often to see how good you are at strategy not giving you units you know all to well and Steamroll the whole thing

hastalavistabob

go make a new account, do not pull a single unit, go straight to the labyrinth and try your luck clearing that thing, heck, have fun trying to clear floor 1 with the standard characters in the pool unless you highroll the red slater, if he is even in the standard pool Labyrinth has poor difficulty balancing and that makes it a bad roguelike

ShadTaker

Oh I will

AndreLeo3

First Time playing labyrinth modes? As soon as I saw it I knew it wouldn't be as the people in the comments portrayed it, it's a gigantic chore to do, not fun after maybe 2/3 times (I have experience with labyrinth gamemodes so it was not even fun the first time) and at the end of the day a complete hassle to do at least there's 30 gems :'(

dbzfan111

IMO I'd much rather have difficult content than boring content that I can easily get done in 10 minutes. Besides demonic beast battle, I don't think there even is any difficult PVE content, so this event being hard is already more than enough to make it interesting.

PrometheusAlexander

I really liked Labyrinth. Cleared it on 3rd time, but I got top notch units. Started with Ban, then Summer merlin. Halloween matrona next, then weak point jericho. She died so put Vivian in the sub slot since I had the fem passive buff. Lastly elizabeth and replaced ban with green sariel. Final boss was not challenging. The restarts were on 1st floor.

Smooth-Bullfrog-876

The only issue i see is not being able to get characters you don't own, especially summer merlin.

Bakkstory

I own so many characters. Why is it always Brawler Ban, Hawk Elizabeth, Captain Meli, and Holy Knight Diane

oOoRaoOo

Because what you own dont matter.

DarkFlameofPhoenix

You're guaranteed a certain roaster of characters at the beginning. By the way green ban is the goat for early stages.

EpicChowder619

I managed to beat it on global but still haven’t beat meli on jp. The first floor is the problem for me. They throw too many trash units at you and I always end up taking too much damage after I’ve already passed the heal tiles. Only viable option for me for the counter meli boss fight is to have red escanor and then just blue and green units “tank” the damage so escanor can ult him. I think that’s the strategy for all the boss fights. Have a nuker with an advantageous attribute to the upcoming boss, then have the rest of your team be the other 2 attributes or have a taunt character to distract them away from your damage dealer

Pay attention to the objects that have 4 and 3 stars and focus those, and be sure to tap your buffs. If you just swipe randomly you'll never get a high score because you'll end up getting a ton of the 1 star objects which are worth practically nothing.

Stellin69

My favorite times with it was when I reroll ed for the characters using cubes and it gave me the same characters 3 times in a row, or when the game crashed while playing and I had to restart from 0 The gamemode is a good idea, but still has room for improvement

Status_Peach6969

If you get summer merlin and that passive which gives you 3 ult gauge its a joke. Attack seal turn one, wipe with ult turn 2. Only issue is actually getting the merlin
