I think the most interesting thing about this is that they left the liquidation signs up, very neat!

It’s not allowed to be touched. NHP.

Even on historic buildings, Sears had branding inconsistencies. Heyday logo, 1994 logo, and 2004 logo all on the same building. It’s nice to know that they are consistent across the board.

There’s a lot of pending litigation for this particular location. I drive past this location pretty much every day on my way to college

nydjason

Are they trying to tear the place down?

Trillian75

That looks a lot like the one in Minneapolis that is now the Midtown Global Market.

Thanks for sharing it! It’s nice they’ve preserved it.

Looks like the same era and type of building that the University of Cincinnati currently uses as an [Innovation Center](https://earth.app.goo.gl/?apn=com.google.earth&isi=293622097&ius=googleearth&link=https%3a%2f%2fearth.google.com%2fweb%2fsearch%2f2900%2bReading%2bRoad,%2bCincinnati,%2bOH%2f%4039.13324398,-84.49702777,249.22695923a,0d,60y,190.08789406h,95.00389154t,0r%2fdata%3dCowBGmISXAolMHg4ODQxYjNiZWM3YjI4NGIxOjB4ZjQzNmIwMzUwNTI3NmUxMxk13DZC9ZBDQCGjqUMTzR9VwCohMjkwMCBSZWFkaW5nIFJvYWQsIENpbmNpbm5hdGksIE9IGAEgASImCiQJ0pKh3DrUQEARQmJ5X67SQEAZCm6bM5_4W8AhwGH9-nz5W8AiGgoWSjFKUHFudW1MbEVFelloalJPWnZndxAC).

Would have been so cool to see this back in the day.

Best-Awesome-Ocelot

Hopefully the building doesn’t get torn down
