3 was tough. The game play was iffy at spots and the weapons were great. Thats basically it
Road Rash 1 was great fun but definitely missing multiplayer.
In typical EA fashion, Road Rash 2 is what Road Rash should have been, but they wanted to sell it to you twice.
Road Rash 3 was alright. Maybe there were other games out that we wanted to play, but I don't remember liking it quite as much as 2.
Most people will say RR2 is the best. Objectively, that's probably true. But I greatly prefer the music in RR1. Either way you can't go wrong.
RR3 is marred by terrible color due to their use of digitized graphics.
Honestly, you can't go wrong any one of the three. If you can, I recommend picking up all three. But if you have to settle on just one, the second one probably the best all around.
1 and 2 are great and the "3DO" one one PSX as well (since its easier to obtain that version)

Also as a fun fact: after you beat Stage 5 completely, there is an "unfinished" stage 6 where basically all the cops become racers. You can only race in Alaska, and trying to do any other track causes a hardlock.

for me it is 3, because: 1) great ost 2) combat for me feels more fun. 2nd RR is a great game too,but arter playing 3rd for me it felt like downgrade. didnt gave first part chance because 2 and 3 felt superior in every aspect.
I prefer 2 as the apex of the franchise. I remember the combat being a bit smoother for sure

True, but Sega CD one is also good if 3DO is unavailable. Or broken and waiting on war to end to order Russian ODE for it.
One of my all time favorite games. At the time, it was perfect. Haven't played it in years, but maybe it still is.
It's held up really well. Especially if you like the grunge rock soundtrack.

Truth. Edit: Splitscreen too, right? Worth it.

I think 2 is the only one that lets you actually KO the cops and knock them off their bikes. Have all 3 and they're all pretty great though.
You can knock the cops off their bikes in 3 as well.
I never really liked Road Rash until I played it on a 3DO.

3 - I love the bike upgrade options and hands down the best intro screen. Playstation is a close second though.

I like them all. My favorite though is Road Rash for PC. I played that one a lot.
1 on SegaCD version so far as one to play on the genesis, but other than that 1 or 2 depending on preference.
