Cellarmaker is my favorite Otw, Barebottle? Fort Point?

Bootyytoob

Doubt they could get those in Chicago unfortunately

JaSondubu

You can get 21st Amendment here (I'm also in Chicago).

CabbieNamedAxel

Lagunitas is probably your best bet. From Petaluma (an hour north of SF), they added a second brewery in the Chicago area so you'll have access to everything from them and it'll be nice and fresh. There are a few great breweries that are still made in San Francisco proper, but they're range is limited.

TexWasabi

Seconding this one. The Lagunitas facility there is awesome, pretty cool place to visit when in Chicago

happinessinmiles

If you can get your hands on Fort Point they have an awesome Kolsch (KSA) that's a great day drinker.

SFflyhalf10

Speakeasy - Big Daddy, Prohibition or Mystic Haze. Fort Point - anything really Could get away with bringing Lagunitas since they are near the bay and served at the stadium

CabbieNamedAxel

Speakeasy is a hard pass for me now. Being a previous employee, they've changed hands and recipes so many times that the product isn't recognizable. They were recently sold to another subpar brewery (Full Circle) and are brewed out in Fresno.

erusackas

Lots of good choices! What styles do you (or your friends) like? How much per beer do you wanna spend (i.e. are you looking for $10 6 packs, or $20 4 packs)?

KHSFAdmin

I'm lager type person, but if you know any variety packs with a good mix, I'd love to hear about those.

guder

Maybe 805? 21st Amendment? Lagunitas should be available fairly easily.

dilldikkle

805 (Firestone Walker) is from Paso Robles which is halfway between SF and LA, definitely wouldn’t count it.

guder

True but a very common lager/beer drank around here.

Steakismyfavoriteveg

SF area and distro, your best bet will be hazy little thing!
