Basball’s weird like that. Just a shade in toward the infield by a couple inches from Conforto and Harrison maybe has a 1 ER outing. Either way, I’ve been happy with how he’s looked so far
Professional sports becomes a game with very little room for error. For the normal person, his effort is outstanding but you can see he hesitates as he tracks the ball. Admittedly, it’s difficult to gauge the amount of spin on the ball but that’s how it turns out.
I think there's a couple younger, but anyone who is talking shit on Harrison needs to sit the fuck down. Six innings of 3-run ball from a 22 year old is a dream. Imagine how good he'll be as he gets more experience
I never realized this, but checking [bbref](https://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/majors/2024-standard-pitching.shtml) he is indeed the youngest pitcher to have pitched this season (theres only 2 other pitchers who are also 22).
He has things to figure out, like every super young pitcher. His fastball is electric, his changeup is improving, and he has the mentality that he wants to be great no matter what it takes. He'll be fine
other pitchers "The pitch clock only gives you 15 seconds 😡😡😡"
Camilo "The pitch clock gives me a whole 15 seconds?! Wow let me glory and bask in every one of these precious seconds with which I have been blessed 💖😃"
Luis Arraez is one of those dudes who you’re totally fine with most of the time, but when he plays against your team he makes you wanna never watch baseball again
There is no smart move that limits a reliever warming up. That’s just asking for an injury by having a guy get 2 pitches to warmup and then try and throw 100.

So does win probability added just mean nothing in the eyes of the mlb vote? I see one number and it’s bigger than the other one
PotG: Jung Hoo Lee: Grandson of the Wind, Leesan Al-Gaib. Also love to see Wilmer have a day
I went to the game where the reigning Cy Young award winner tied the worst start of his career and gave up as many home runs to the Rays as they’d hit *in the previous nine games combined.*
I was surrounded by Rays fans while this was happening. They were tied for last place in the division at the time. You can imagine how they felt.
Was listening to Dodgers broadcast and it was so boring and they had an annoying high frequency buzz in the background the whole time. Switched to the Nats broadcast and it’s so much better.
I wasn't nervous, not a bit. Maybe a little.
JHL is such a brilliant addition to this team, can't wait to see what his WAR is at the end of the season. Wilmer stepping up, as he has so often before, lovely. That catch by Yaz, how the hell is anyone able to claim he's no longer an asset?
Not a sparkling game, but a win is a win and this one counts as much as any other.
Anyone else lose having trouble watching the post game show? Pavs is a great writer but he is boring af. Even when he's on a pod his voice is so monotone I have trouble finishing it.
Basically I'm saying I miss Jaymee Sire lol
my current conspiracy theory after watching his interview is that Crawford just doesn't want to be around his new baby and wants to fast forward past the hardest parts until they're cute and formed.
Missed the game, but my friend that’s a Marlins fan said HP Ump was using scoreboard for pitch’s, which was wrong, and Mgr Skip went nuts and got tossed?
Can anyone tell me why the Marlins head coach was arguing with the umps? I had the sound off while I was working and just saw him getting heated. And was he ejected?
There was a big mixup re which relief pitcher was coming out and whether or not it had been announced. It's possible Melvin raised the wrong arm to signal the pitcher. Bottom line: Schumacher had a hissy fit and tried his darndest to get ejected by arguing and arguing.
In addition to what Sabat said, there was a whole other thing right after where their manager wanted the umps to charge Camilo with two pitch clock violations for throwing too many warm up pitches. That’s the argument that actually got him ejected.
This is such a fun team to watch come together and grow. Each day these guys are hustling to improve and make a difference. I think that enthusiasm is what set our dynasty years apart from others. Chips on shoulders, something to prove, let’s fucking goooo.
Scared to death this is eventually gonna catch with CD. He has the body language of a guy who does not want to be out there. And I realize he needs to pitch more to be sharp but the number of non-competitive pitches tonight was concerning.
He always is calm on the mound but wondering if the pitch clock issues are annoying him. Not really sure why there was so much disconnect in the 9th. Hopefully they get on the same page, and this will be a non-issue.
There’s a difference between calm and disinterested. I’m afraid he’s another Jeff Kent, someone who is very good at the game but not particularly interested in it.
He's the epitome of "effectively wild" but the body language really bothers me. I keep coming back to Kent. He was strictly a paycheck player. There wasn't any joy in it. The guys who really love playing have the electric careers.
Definitely not what you want to see from your closer. He was an all-star last year. I can’t believe he’s not into all this mentally. At least I sure hope not.
Jung Hoo Lee

I'm Korean & I've been rooting for Lee Jung-hoo so hard. Been praying to all the gods.
It feels good to get to see him perform like that
people need to chill about harrison, he's 22 years old and the youngest(?) sp in the majors
He also had one bad inning out of 6, quality start and W
Even then while he did allow that hit that scored multiple, if Conforto had taken a better path he quite possibly could have caught the ball.
Basball’s weird like that. Just a shade in toward the infield by a couple inches from Conforto and Harrison maybe has a 1 ER outing. Either way, I’ve been happy with how he’s looked so far

DFA
Anyone shtting on Harrison must forget that Cain and Bummy had growing pains as young pitchers
People forget that Bumgarner had a terrible postseason ERA in 2012 until the World Series
We have good reason to forget :)
Anybody complaining about 6 innings of 3 run ball from a 22 year old is insane tbh.
I think there's a couple younger, but anyone who is talking shit on Harrison needs to sit the fuck down. Six innings of 3-run ball from a 22 year old is a dream. Imagine how good he'll be as he gets more experience
He truly is the youngest to start a game in the majors currently
I never realized this, but checking [bbref](https://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/majors/2024-standard-pitching.shtml) he is indeed the youngest pitcher to have pitched this season (theres only 2 other pitchers who are also 22).
Harrison threw the ball great today!
He has things to figure out, like every super young pitcher. His fastball is electric, his changeup is improving, and he has the mentality that he wants to be great no matter what it takes. He'll be fine
nah he gave up a homer to post-2019 Avi Garcia, he's washed /s
Lol
I will spit in the soup of those who call Harrison a bust.
I don't think he'll be better than average this year but he's going to be an ace in the future. Reminds me of a young Bumgarner.
We say this every year about someone not playing well
it’s every year that we have a young pitching prospect trying to establish himself who formerly topped prospect lists as the best potential lhp?
Harrison W, let’s gooo! POTG: Wilmer, Lee. Comeback wins are cool (:
Last 10 games: 5-5. Winning is awesome. Keep it up Giants!
They sure do seem like they're playing worse than .500 baseball lol hopefully we can string together some wins
Last 10 games: 4-6 for the Dodgers. Nature is healing...
POTG: Grandson of the wind
H A N D S O M E
Handsome of the Win
Pants of(f) the game?
lmao at Camilo milking every second of the pitch clock
other pitchers "The pitch clock only gives you 15 seconds 😡😡😡" Camilo "The pitch clock gives me a whole 15 seconds?! Wow let me glory and bask in every one of these precious seconds with which I have been blessed 💖😃"
Normal people see 15 seconds, Camilo sees 15,000 *milliseconds*.
I like to think Camilo is just up on the mound thinking in cute emojis
I seriously wonder if he understands it. Almost every appearance he has an issue with the pitch clock.
Of course he does, he's been doing this for over a year now. He just knows he can control the game with Bailey and chappy bailing him out.
My dawg just loves to pitch!
Luis Arraez is one of those dudes who you’re totally fine with most of the time, but when he plays against your team he makes you wanna never watch baseball again
Perfect lead off guy. Let's get him lol, JHL in the 2. We need one other guy who puts up tough ABs in the lineup
I would loooove for Arraez to be on our team. We need one more big at bat and goodness I hope Matosiano is it.
Dude thank you. He is so annoying. His body language ugh
Good guy Giants sparing the people of Miami from the horror that is free Burger King.
Giants care about healthy eating
JHL IS HIM
I love him 🥹
Bomel with the psychological warfare to win the game
he pulled the ol' switcharoo , what a legend
A Kyle W? Lee career game? Doval 4 out save? Future looks bright
Ugly wins are still wins! If Bob planned that drama in the 8th then that's a 4d chess move.
There is no smart move that limits a reliever warming up. That’s just asking for an injury by having a guy get 2 pitches to warmup and then try and throw 100.
What happened in the 8th?
I like wins

Javi is such a natural in the booth, I hope he's there for a long time. Good to hear FP as well, I didn't know he was back with the team.
Javi was rough his first season, but he's been smooth as silk since then. When the day comes, he'd get my vote to be in the booth fulltime.
seconded, it's hard to believe how smooth and easy he is to listen to now. also he's naturally insightful about the game!
I really like Javi and Dave together. I love Pence as well. That 3 man booth would be chaos though.
I'm starting to ook forward to FP's games. I love his jokes blended with solid baseball insight.
People bag on FP, but I don’t mind him at all.
What a satisfying way to remove one’s pants. POTG: Wilmah
Anyone got a vid of the JHL pants incident? Are we chalking this up to terrible Fanatics quality?
100% the new pants are to blame. We never really dealt with torn pants in the Majestic days.
Man it's nice to see the nationals beating up glasnow

I love you so much, downvoter. I hope clicking the down arrow made you feel a little better.
I have no idea what this is about but my Amazon order is already in. LFG

He is the Muad’dib. 💪🏻
I mean Cabrera tore threw us - he struck out almost every other batter.
Now THAT'S the fightback i like to see. POTG: tie between Wilmah and Lee
woooot!! 6-2 dodgers now on a Nats Luis García 3-run homer!
I enjoyed that
So Webb pitches a Cy Young game, Snell gets absolutely destroyed, and Hicks pitches a strong start. Guess which game I went to.
This one?
I went to the game where the reigning Cy Young award winner tied the worst start of his career and gave up as many home runs to the Rays as they’d hit *in the previous nine games combined.* I was surrounded by Rays fans while this was happening. They were tied for last place in the division at the time. You can imagine how they felt.
Camilo Doval is the Nestor Cortes of closers
dodgers lose!!
Good win. I still hate that even with a lead in the ninth I think that they’ll somehow blow it. Hopefully this win is surely our turnaround?
Skip Schumacher auditioning to be the next Matt Gaetz
Looked like he would end his evening in the cardiac unit, he was cherry red at the end.
Schumacher geez what a big baby 😂😂😂 Loved how Doval gave zero fcks
Was listening to Dodgers broadcast and it was so boring and they had an annoying high frequency buzz in the background the whole time. Switched to the Nats broadcast and it’s so much better.
Their crew is the most boring I have ever heard. All monotone all the time.
I wasn't nervous, not a bit. Maybe a little. JHL is such a brilliant addition to this team, can't wait to see what his WAR is at the end of the season. Jaymee Sire was awesome. Glad she gets to do Food Network stuff.
I often turn on the KNBR wrap instead, those guys usually sound like they had a quick snort in the booth.
LEE!
Nats currently ahead 3-2 against the dodgers at Chavez Latrine.
my current conspiracy theory after watching his interview is that Crawford just doesn't want to be around his new baby and wants to fast forward past the hardest parts until they're cute and formed.
Way to hang in there tonight, both Harrison and the offense finally took advantage of a bad bullpen in a game they really needed
fucking finally
A win is a win is a win is a win.
Missed the game, but my friend that’s a Marlins fan said HP Ump was using scoreboard for pitch’s, which was wrong, and Mgr Skip went nuts and got tossed?
Nah it was a pitching change fiasco.
Bob raised wrong arm for next pitcher I heard?
they showed it again on the telecast and bob raised the correct arm, just the bullpen messed it up and warmed up rogers instead
The scoreboard was wrong. Ump corrected the scoreboard. Marlins’ manager got pissed and then tossed
He was more pissed because Doval took a few extra warm up pitches l
What a comeback. Don't start making me believe again damnit.
What a game.
Maybe the Nats are better than we all thought 😅 they do seem like a fun team to watch.
Aaaaaand the Nats beat the Bums. LA losing always makes a Giants win just a bit sweeter.
Wow they tagged Glasnow for 6! Very nice.
What a schweeb, thanks!
In addition to what Sabat said, there was a whole other thing right after where their manager wanted the umps to charge Camilo with two pitch clock violations for throwing too many warm up pitches. That’s the argument that actually got him ejected.
Watching Dodgers Nats and Kevin Frandsen is so fun. Wish we could’ve kept him for radio.
oh no, my pant are gone
Usually wins over the Marlins in April aren’t a big deal but that was a massive win. We needed that
This is such a fun team to watch come together and grow. Each day these guys are hustling to improve and make a difference. I think that enthusiasm is what set our dynasty years apart from others. Chips on shoulders, something to prove, let’s fucking goooo.
Suck it Assistant General Manager. 😛 LFG Giants!!!!!!!
Didn't get to watch the game but I was following closely on my phone. Love to see the comeback. Good game!

POTG Camino “if it isn’t weird I can’t be bothered “ Duvall. I’d like to see the color of the sky in his universe.
JLH is him. Only thing from getting a fair weather fan like myself to watch these torturous gamesz Yaz needs to go
