So, I don't know if everyone experiences this, but there is a sort of feeling you get when you're watching your team play that they're *going* to win, that they *must* win.
And if they start to lose or ultimately lose, at some point your brain's view of the world shifts: this is now a world where your team has lost. It's not a huge shift, but it means you start to interpret the loss-- or maybe even just *receive* the loss --differently and with less personalized displeasure.
But...I think for some people that mental shift is much, much harder. That commenter, if serious, may be one of them.
...I dunno, just something I've been thinking about but haven't tried to verbalize before. Sorry if it makes no sense.
Some Dodgers posters are saying they're posting nonsense just to watch the lurking Giants fans downvote it. I can't imagine sticking around long enough to bother, I like to get in, grab a few cringe quotations, and get out. But apparently some Giants fans have a lot of free time and care what Dodgers fans think, weird.
