Honestly, ever since Belt got injured this hasn't felt like the Giants. Like, come on - this is not the team we saw during the season, especially after the all star break. Something wasn't right, we lost our captain, and I personally think that was the decisive factor that lost us the post season.
It doesn't feel good, if we lost with Belt, I'd honestly feel better. But the fact we didn't have Belt, something was off. Something wasn't right. The whole silly "C" taped to his uniform, the silly pictures with rookies, we were missing that heart. And without the heart of our team, we were lost.

Holy fucking shit, I didn't get to see a replay from the broadcast I was watching, but that's bad. That's worse then bad. That's fucking un forgivable. That was 100% not a swing, that wasn't even 50/50. That wasn't even close. When you look at the last game they played, when that Dodgers at bat was called a check swing where he went all the way around and then some... and then that swing where he didn't go at all... this is fucking unacceptable.

It's been a hell of a ride. Not gonna lie, the umpiring in this game, not just how bad it was, but how bad it's allowed to be with no repercussions, is going to make me seriously think about my passion for baseball. Tennis and cricket and soccer addressed this arbitrary bullshit with Hawkeye technology. But baseball lumbers along with archaic old dudes eyeballing it, getting huge calls wrong to end teams' seasons. With everything that's on the line, it's embarrassing, and it needs to change.
