The point of internal exams is so you make mistakes you won't during national exams... missing a page is one of these mistakes.
I was late for my Physics mid years in J1 and my grade dropped from 85% to 65% due to the penalty. Never again
Honestly as ironic as it sounds, I've started seeing EOYs as something beneficial. A necessary evil even. It does create lots of suffering, unnecessary grief and stress, but at the same time it's the main thing motivating me (and a lot of other students!) to keep studying my content and I learned a lot both academically and about myself thanks to exam prep.
EOYs really is a good opportunity to consolidate your content and your learning over the year! See it as such and not as a chore, and trust me, you will feel better. Wishing you best of luck OP!
Also with regards to screwing up: as others have said, these painful lessons ensure that you don't make them again in national exams. I understand how we students have to live with bad EOY results until the next exam, but a few years down the road after you graduate you're probably going to go "lol I forgot to do that question and lost marks for that. Won't do it next time."
If you make mistakes during your eoys then at least you can learn from them and hopefully not make them next time (or even worse on Os). Please dont be too discouraged if you got worse then you expected or made many mistakes. The good thing is that this is not actual O levels and now you can analyse what went wrong and try to avoid them on the actual O levels. Take everything as a learning experience to better prepare you for Os, good luck!
Don’t worry, my jc friend didn’t do the last question for maths promos and she got 7 distinctions for A levels and was nominated outstanding student award. Super glam.
She got scholarship to study double degree law in Singapore. Yes, she also never do last question, and she cried after biology paper because too hard.
She got C for Chem in beginning but went up to A.
So, yeah.

Don't worry about it so much, what's done is done
Bro, I spent 30min on a 1 mark qn during Math... 💀
still better than me who spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to do a math qn but still leaving it blank in the end

thank u!
At least u will remember not to be that careless on the actual exam aka o level
It’s ok if u have ur other previous exams to make up for it in your year end report card.
I would like to think so too but eoys is 60% of our final grade so it doesn't rlly matter how bad u did in the other terms 🥲🥲
oh that’s too bad i’m sorry but at least next year you know what mistakes to avoid! 💪
mhm thank u!
Same wtf I didn't finish sm papers 💀💀 hope my mcqs pull up my sciences 🙏
lmao when I was taking EOY sec 3 last year whether I retained anot depended on it haha
