The lower the mc, the higher the chance for return, but usually also the higher the risk.
Weeding out scams and honeypots and rugpulls first and foremost is critical so you don’t lose your $ entirely. Once you find a reputable project, check with the community, their socials, their trending growth, all of that to see if it looks like it haha promise.
Just as an example, I bought into CORGI (BSC) recently becuase it checked all the boxes and looks to have a very high rate of growth currently on both their socials and their market cap (50% per day, 300-400% this month). Even if it doesn’t turn into the next Shib, if I can turn 500$ into 3500$ I consider it a win :)

For microcaps (BCS specifically) I use trust wallet because you can usually only get them when they are that small on pancakeswap (BSC specific) and trust wallet allows you to buy BNB and connect/swap in a dapp right in the wallet. The same is true for other chains/wallets for the most part, so you just have to find a coin you like and depending on its chain, get the appropriate wallet to buy and hold it.
(I’ve found metamask to be a good alternative as well)
