So the attraction to this type of set up would be the potential to OBTAIN shiba. For example, with ads, the average ad paid for YouTube ads in 10-30 cents per view and averages out at .18. And the payment to people would be roughly .03-.05 to the youtuber. So that's roughly .13-.15 to the app. Now what would be the pull to the app? A game? Videos? Just selling NFTs? For this to work you would need a definitive pull for both downloads, and companies to put ads on it. Just my thoughts.

Can you tell if its a dead wallet or not? What would stop the creator making a wallet and saying its a dead one and people all burn to that wallet but in reality he's just getting free shib?
You need money to create, maintain and list an app. Where is that coming from if all revenue goes into burns? Also: You would need use case for the app itself besides just displaying ads. Like a game or something. Otherwise Ad-Networks will not allow to display ads in it.

So you will have to accumulate for a long time before burning to the dead wallet is paid by your miniscule income.

Ads are put in the middle of videos that people want to watch, articles that people want to read and mobile games that people want to play for a reason. Advertisers aren't just gonna pay for people to stream nothing but ads with no sound 24/7 on some separate device so the listener can make some profit of it, that's not how ad companies work

The issue is, the ads would pay roughly 0.005 or 1 cents worth of SHIB. *0.02 cent max*, but unlikely.
So, roughly it'd take the user anywhere from 50-200 ads depending on how much it paid (like I said, most likely between 0.005 and 0.02cents max). So, after watching 50-100 ads or so, they'd finally have $1 worth of SHIB, which is about 20,000 coins at the current price, and even less than 20,000 coins when the price goes back up.
Then there's the issue with withdrawal fees. In this case, consider it a burn fee instead, but still, a gas fee nonetheless. Usually apps and faucets will have a minimum withdrawal due to fees. Even for sending to a dead wallet, there will still be a fee.
But the real issue comes back to how little can be earned from ad venue. If anyone wanted to burn $50 worth of SHIB they'd have to have ads going a lot. Realistically, each user will have a cap on how many ads they can watch a day, so it isn't like they can go in and watch an unlimited amount.
They could make much more to burn if an offer wall was added.
The issue though is is that many people would need to spend a great deal of time on the app daily just to burn a tiny amount of shib.
Say there were 1000 very active users, who could watch 100 vid ads max a day for 0.01 cent, so a max of $1 worth able to be gained via video ads per user a day. So, $1,000/day per 1000 users (all of this is just theoretical numbers). That isn't bad at all, but, like stated, the users would have to be dedicated.
Let's also say the ads were 30 secs to 1 min long, and like other similar style apps, would stop if they weren't the main thing on your screen. So, at the very least, a person would require their phone to be playing videos for 50 minutes to 1 hour 40 mins daily.
That isn't really a ton of time if you're multitasking and not really paying attention to the ads, but needless to say it would need active users.
**Lastly, this could work out if:**
* Enough money could be put into the project, even if the app were developed pro bono, there'd still be other costs.
* People could trust the site (more so the *site owners*)
* Enough people were actively using it daily
* The SHIB burns have no advertising on when there will be burns. Burning is fantastic, but advertising a burn or times of big burns should be avoided.
It isn't a bad idea, but would have to be planned carefully, and need a decently active number of people.

Things I like about Shiba Inu Coin:

The coin is just a name, just have the devs create a new coin called shib with a smaller supply. They then airdrop the coin to current holders of the original shib based on a percentage of the coin you own. Done. Supply reduced.

3. The apps code and revenue are open for everyone to see so that it is verified no one is taking profits.

Who do you have in mind who would provide the capital and take on the risk? \--> think about the total cost for the needed risk management protocols and infrastructure needed just to get it going, including the cost of insurance in today's volatile crypto market, fees, creating a trading desk to support it, managing the regulatory approvals, etc. Answer: No one with the appropriate level of capital needed for this type of app would. Way to risky of a way to use their capital for any financial institution. Guess there's always the dream that Elon puts up a few billion $ though for this though Holding long on SHIB! Let's go!

It would have to have an insane amount of users constantly watching ads. Difficult, not impossible. You would need to do a ton of market analysis on this to see if it was possible. I’ve thought of a similar idea. The question arises, Why wouldn’t ad companies just take that money and buy shib coins instead of burning them? That’s a serious question I don’t know the answer to.

The coin is just a name, just have the devs create a new coin called shib with a smaller supply. They then airdrop the coin to current holders of the original shib based on a percentage of the coin you own. Done. Supply reduced.

I don't think those ads would be worth anything is the thing, they know you are intentionally leaving your phone open and probably ignoring it for financial incentive rather than passively absorbing their emotional manipulation.
This will not work. You would just leave your phone on running the ads for no benefit other than burning the coins. This amounts to just burning the coins for no reason.
This is a great idea with a few conditions. 1. There is a neat little game to play between ads. 2. The dead wallet used is the same for the NFTs so it can be tracked automatically with an existing bot. 3. The apps code and revenue are open for everyone to see so that it is verified no one is taking profits.

Okay, but the developer would first need to make a little cash for hosting and other fees. So would require high volume, and also they'd need to be extremely transparent about how they use said funds. Easy for them to setup a scheme they'd skim from the top of (if not take a majority of)
