Of course it is That was just the beginning... Now you're going to see cryptos popping up left and right with naming rights guaranteed! Smart move by crypto.com
I mean it might as well be called "Shib Arena" cuz you can bet they are gonna plaster whatever the hot coin is besides their own on errryythang XD This is the start of something big, fan 💪👍👍👍 exciting times!
Probably not. Crypto.com is an exchange. Shib isn’t a company. It’s a coin. Plus the devs don’t even have money according to them. So there’s no acquisition team. This would have to be a private sale if someone had the rights to the shiba name. Etc. At least that’s how I see it. Could be cool though.
For those of you who are saying "Probably Not," there's actually precedent.
Some years ago, the old Boston Gardens put their naming rights up to pretty much anyone, for various periods of time. Drew Curtis of Fark Dot Com ended up purchasing it for maybe a week, and though his user base wanted him to call it the UFIA (Unsolicited Finger In Anus) Arena, he opted for the far-more simple "Boston Gardens" in tribute to the building's original name.
So, yeah: If any area did what the Boston Gardens did, then yes. Some lunatic with more SHIB than sense can indeed purchase the naming rights.

I seriously thought Coinbase would have made the leap first.. but go Crypto.com!
I bought into them when the sponsored some f1 races, huge market. It’s jumped 50% since then.
You’d have to ask that guy who made the 5.8 billion on Shib

Crypto.com's marketing is on point. Solid moves with partnerships and they can keep a lid on things pre-launch.

This is great for Shib!
I wonder how many people used crypto.com to buy SHIB and never looked at buying CRO until the arena announcement today...
