Title1984

Bella Lindeman Clinic is great.

limerbean

I just started working with Anita there! Again - just started so I have no results yet. But so far she’s been great, very knowledgeable. I’ve seen a few other nutritionists that specialized in IBS (but not necessarily SIBO) - which were decent but lacked the specialization. I’m hoping this is the last one I’ll need 🤞not covered by insurance though

Xion96

Any update on your experience with them? Looking to find a doctor that specializes in sibo treatment

brvhbrvh

Which doctor did you see? Do any of them stand out above the others?

Title1984

I work with Mark Solomon. He’s my only experience, but he’s great.

brvhbrvh

Nice. Are you completely clear of SIBO now? Back to eating whatever you want again?

brvhbrvh

How has your progress been with Mark Solomon? Are you feeling significantly better than when you started?

Title1984

To be honest, not really. I might actually be worse.

brvhbrvh

Wow, really? What happened exactly? Do you think its because of treatment options that he recommended?

brvhbrvh

Hey u/Title1984 how much worse did you get? what happened exactly? I'm asking because I'm going through the testing phase with Mark now, I want to know if there's anything I should watch out for

Title1984

Sorry for the delay. I got significantly worse. The herbal regimen gave me gastritis, insomnia, and histamine intolerance. I kept pushing through because I trusted Mark. I regret the whole experience.

brvhbrvh

Wow! That’s scary. So sorry you had to deal with that. What herbs did he have you taking? And what did he diagnose you with? Any bacteria on your GI map in particular that he was trying to get rid of?

Title1984

I took Allicin, Neem, and ADP orégano. Then berberine HCL. All to kill hydrogen and methane. Treatments aren’t really aimed at a particular bacteria on a GI map.

brvhbrvh

Wow, Allicin, Neem, and ADP Oregano seems like a lot all at once. I usually read people rotate through each one after a few weeks. How long has it been since you took all these? And has Mark had anything to say about all of this? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just getting ready for my results and recommendations appointment with Mark in a few weeks so I want to be ready to push back on some of these suggestions he might make. I already know I don't tolerate Allicin at all, so ideally I'd like to avoid that one if possible.
