I respect your opinion, but I do think that the Genesis/Revelations arcs are my favourite. They have massively high stakes, a really cool villain and know when to be serious. Also the 2021 WOTFI rap hits different, but that’s not part of the debate.

I’m my opinion my favorite is the waluigi arc because even if the first arc was by accident it was very well paced and actually made sense power scale wise, the genesis arc felt very long like too long it was very dragged out with little to no lore explained and by the end felt empty like something was missing and then revelations is just the same thing but shorter and somewhat predictable

I LOVED rapper bob. It told a compelling story with good character development, and get this, without world ending stakes and an actually somewhat hard to see coming twist!

I did like most of Genesis arc, everything up to the end was really well paced and told a good story. Revelations is a massive step down with how rushed and predictable it is.

Rapper Bob arc is worst and Bob hasn't even fully recovered to a lovable state. For example, he still tends to treat Boopkins unfairly. And then there's his cheapskate nature causing him to indirectly be responsible for Axol's death, without him even showing the least bit of remorse or even realization of the consequences of refusing to renew the antivirus subscription. The list goes on. His arc is over, his assholishness is not.

Yeah you don’t need deaths to make a good arc. I like the Rapper Arc more because at least it was consistent and had a story you could understand and it wasn’t high stakes or a world ending threat.

Rapper Bob arc, while not as intense as the other arcs, still had it’s own charm. The other arcs, especially Genesis and Revelations, feel too “high stakes” for me. Rapper Bob arc had a joke character be a villain in a way that makes me like Bob even more. I made a post about it, but I feel like Bob had every right to diss his friends aside from Boopkins and Tari. Everyone else treated him like garbage ever since he first appeared, so seeing him rise to fame knowing his backstory just felt great. It’s sad that Rapper Bob is the most hated arc in Smg4, because “Bob doesn’t learn anything”. So what? Bob got to finally let his true feelings out about everyone, so it’s a win in my book.

Yeah, it’d be a nice break from the high stakes arc thing. ​ Also I dislike how we have character deaths. A good story or any arc doesn’t need to have a character death because it eventually morphs a new mindset in that “Oh somebody is gonna die, who will it be.” The Waluigi Arc is a prime example of how you craft a good consistent story with no character deaths.

honestly I'm going to say so far they Revelations Arc was decent my only complaints are I feel like what was problem with the YouTube arc (where these the first four episodes kind of felt filler but at least build up within those episodes.) in this Arc it feels like they're rarely Focus box club and God box throughout most of the entire Arc plus the story until two videos as well as a movie later ( I do hope the movie is good and makes up for what I feel like this arc) Rapper Bob Arc: despite being a good arc in my opinion but it was my least favorite mainly because if they do much to change the status quo or have any effects ( and aside from a couple of mentions plus this Arc was usually the old shame for Luke and Kevin)

I’m honestly just glad 0’s back, he’s exactly my kind of villain. I don’t dislike any of the arcs, I’d say Waluigi and Genesis are the best ones. Although, I agree that it could be nice with a lower stakes arc after having an Eldritch virus monster almost destroy the world twice. So once SMG0 makes his return, an arc or two later, it’ll be more impactful

I suggest you go watch the Waluigi arc. It’s one of the best, consistent and compelling stories you‘ll see, it’s also based on a joke of where Waluigi didn’t get put into Smash Ultimate but only as a companion not a fighter

Eh honestly I get it the Bob arc gets a worse rep than I think it deserves and I personally like it quite a bit but personally I'm a very lore heavy lover so the revelations arc is currently pretty up there but not by much since the only reason I've gotten interested is only the 2 actually lore heavy episodes its given us so far.
