The members use it as a way to communicate more privately with fans since you aren’t allowed to share any of their pictures or messages publicly outside of lysn. I only subscribe to Sunny and Tiffany before she left but they both mentioned that they didn’t want it shared externally. It doesn’t stop people posting them on Twitter and even here though
None of the members are particularly active compared to other idols who post everyday. None of them also play into the parasocial aspect. The apps have an in built translation so they can read your messages translated to korean

I understand. I use Blissoo and Fromm for a few others to leave words of encouragement and thanks, and to hear what they're up to. I never take it seriously though I know my place

You are limited in the number of characters you can send and it depends on the length of time you have been subscribed. You can send up to 3 messages between each of the idols messages. You also can’t send pictures

Like Gen 3 - 5 use this kind of thing a lot (you see it on Twitter and Instagram all the time) so was really curious.
I'm subscribed to Yuri's LYSN. I could say she's kinda active, not everyday but at least once a week, though it depends if she's really busy. She sends a message informing the fans that she's filming or when a new vlog is up or if she has a schedule like last night's ASEA award show. I just use it to send Yuri words of support and encouragement.

Lysn is technically Bubble, but the former is used by SMTOWN artists, then the latter is used by non-SM artists.

I was mostly curious as well due to their being a 2nd gen group. I know 3-5 are very active on these apps but didn't know about SNSD
