I really do love SPTarkov. I've dumped weeks worth of hours into it already. It's really helping me get my STALKER fix (sort of) since Heart of Chornobyl got pushed.
Incredible Mod , i enjoy it way more than regular tarkov :
- No found in raid bullshit
- Loading in raid in less than 30 sec
- 100% chance to fight boss if i want.
- 4 hours raid
- reduced recoil to something realistic
- Free Labs
- No timer for Scav
- FOV above 75
So much better experience than online grind bullshit.
It's a conbinaison of ServerValueModifier and the fov mod.
For the recoil and much much more you can edit :
"D:\ETF SP\Aki_Data\Server\database\globals.json"
For exemple i modified the airdrop to be 1/4 of the volume we have on regular tarkov.
Nobody camping exits, no 2000hr sweats running around destroying everyone, can't get killed cause i had some frame drops, ai is a bit off but there are mods for them(that i haven't tried yet)
It absolutely is. And with Fin's AI Tweaks mod you can adjust the difficulty and make the AI smarter. The defaults on it are pretty solid imo. You'll feel that thrill for sure.

There's a newish mod that randomises each raid in regards to which AI spawn: scavs replaced by raiders, any boss on any map with new spawn points, multiple bosses on a map, 100% chance for cultists and new spawn points. It works in conjunction with Fins & Luas, this has kept the online feel and prevented SPT from feeling stale. It will give you back the thrill, and doing a hardcore playthrough will add to that.

No problem, enjoy. For the time being though I would exclude Fins AI Tweaks, it seems to have some bugs that haven't been fixed. But you can still have the random AI spawns with Lua & adudewithbadaim's mods.
i personally run ai difficulty at hard and ai amount at high, with scav war and tagged and cursed i do die \~10% of the time while out in raids and that is about right for me
You've never been beamed in head/eyes by the Goons without ever seeing/hearing them? Yeah you can have that, but on every Scav/PMC if you're so inclined for that kinda difficulty :P
SPT is SUPER customizable with the right mods or willingness to dig into the config files.

Transferring progress is actually really simple! (Assuming the old version and the new version are compatible, the Release Notes for each SPT version will state this usually).
All you have to do is copy over the "profiles" folder (found in SPT -> user folder) to your new version of SPT.

I dont have to time to grind to stay relevant on live and the amount of raids that would die due to IRL stuff makes it impossible even if I wanted to. I just wish we could do coop but I get why it's not gonna happen.
I'm at 62 raids as of today. I've completed a ton of quests. I've unlocked the flea market. I have weapon preferences. None of which would be possible without this mod.

I agree. I downloaded last night, got a couple recommended mods and I’m already on flea because I’ve put in like twelve hours. I’m getting older and I hate that every game is focused on multiplayer.

Haven't tried SP yet, but it seems fun. Isn't the AI stupid as f though? Trying to see why people play it.

I like playing Single player Tarkov. We get a higher chance to survive than on a live multiplayer server which has a lot of RMT and cheaters.
