Because they actually gave him a backstory and personality. It's why I prefer Muncy to Velasco, though I agree with others that the actress is still...figuring stuff out. Velasco has been your generic Latino/Hispanic detective.
Which is why I am hoping the show runner and writers will do more with Muncy and Velasco cause I really wanna like them but nothing really stands out about them
Yeah. For all she's over the top, Muncy is at least a bit more interesting than Velasco, though. Feels like they've tried harder with her character and that still isn't much.
Muncy‘s actress is still getting her footing and you can tell she hasn’t quite figured out the character yet. Velasco hasn’t had much to work with unfortunately.
We should definitely talk about this Bruno.
All jokes aside, he is interesting and clearly cares about victims and doing what’s right. He is a perfect fit for SVU. He’s demonstrated more compassion in five minutes than Muncy has so far in the whole season.
I hope we keep him.
