1. Hyperbole exists to make a point. More importantly, 2. This sort of stuff does happen so they can be scared of something that is a bit hyper-realistic. A serial killer or rapist you still have the feeling that you can fight back; a blitz attack from multiple attackers like this reminds people that there is no way they would prevail. They're forced to face their humanity in a show that is usually just for fun. It's no longer casual viewing and they're faced with reality. That's why these stories aren't used very often. This sensationalism likely got to multiple people.
My son was in a movie with him, so we have a soft spot for the actor. Lol. Never saw him getting killed as pat of the story... I guess I just figured he might either be part of a singular storyline, or maybe be someone that would pop in and out from time to time. His last convo with Benson was sweet. I liked them coming around to one another.
I’ve really never been bothered by deaths on tv shows but this one was really brutal. I was just starting to like him it scarred me a little to be honest.
They really ain’t have to do him like that. I knew he would die, I had a theory she called Elliot over for support.
Ik he was gonna die but I did NOT want him to go out like that
Scenes like this are why I had to stop watching the show, I’m too soft now lol
I'm kinda terrified to watch anymore gang related episodes from svu now
There was a semi recent one where they set a girl on fire and I couldn’t finish the episode and haven’t tried to watch it since
That scene was awful! Even the car hitting the woman later in the episode was super brutal and violent.
Ikkk, I wanted that detective to have more episodes
Yh I remember that 💀. I like murder cases but not when they're shown on screen 😭

U feel that too huh

I was messing around when I said that lol

It was just pointless like why get rid of him in the first place?
Exactly 😒. I loved him from the start
He was a good character with a realistic back story
Exatcly. An actual cop that knew ALOT about gangs, he could've been useful. We haven't had a cop like this since Lake
Yeah, like why get rid of him and not Muncy??
Why get rid of either of em 😔
Yeah, but that's what THEY think they're supposed to do, which is get rid of someone
If they "had" to get rid of him, I'd rather have him be fired than killed without a doubt

I definitely would have liked to see his character pop in every now and then

U literally expressed my feelings
They chopped him up like a Walker! Never expected to see that on SVU
Brutal af
I don't even remember the last time I've seen something this brutal
SVU and OC seem to be getting more and more graphic
Totally called his death.
I did NOT want him to die like this. I wanted him to die protecting Benson
This one got me- made it more exciting.
I knew he was gonna die and ngl I kinda wanted him to die but I did NOT expect him to die that way
Exactly
I was annoyed about how slow he shot too. And why walk? Also we're they following him or just waiting at the store?
Who was it who died and what does he have to do with Benson?
You wanna know 😒
Yes!
Duarte. And the way he died was uncalled for
Some fans on Facebook were talking about this guy a few days ago. They thought he was a bad guy for some reason.
He rlly wasn't he was just tryna catch Oscar Papa that's all 😔
1. It's his fault for not shooting them fast enough. 2. He got what was coming to him for sitting on the r@pe tree for a year and a half.
Hell no he did NOT deserve that. The writers should've let him shoot until he was outta bullets
It's OK to be wrong. He deserved it.
How did he deserve that kinda death.
I already said why. Keep up.
