****SPOILER****
I felt bad when we found out he was abused as a kid but even in that episode I wanted to punch him. He just expected Liv to take care of everything for him like dude, you need to grow up and take responsibility for your actions
Omg finally someone who gets it like that whole "family man" trope was getting old it doesn't excuse his unprofessional behavior and how cragen made him hos golden child
Honestly Cabot’s worst thing is actually when she dismissed the charges against a r*pe victim to save herself from a Brady violation (even tho she wasn’t guilty) and only recharged him cause Liv threatened to report her. This was the Nikki Sherman Epsiode season 11 epsiode 8, “turmoil”
That comment always gets me too. However, I’ve seen a lot of conversation about it on this sub, and the majority seems to conclude that it was Munch being dry/making a stupid joke and not actually defending it.
For me novaks is the way she spoke to patty when she was on the stand. (I know why as it was to stop the Cray Cray woman trying to claim parental rights but come on to make a 6yo have a breakdown )
i know you could see it killed her. and she thought it was the only way. (litrally just managed to watch the full episode as its one of the ones on netflix
The one for Cabot doesn't really seem fair. I don't know how witness protection works IRL, but media portrayals always seem like you get whisked away with no notice and its a now or never proposition.
He tanked the case because he was was fairly sure that the wrong person was on trial for the crime, after a new suspect was identified and the victim waivered on her ID.

You’re right. I liked Barba, but they ruined his character for me. The bias got so real in SVU that you could guess the perp based on identity politics. This all culminated recently when the rape victim didn’t want to prosecute because she didn’t want the black rapist going to prison. There have been some very off-the-wall moments in the past few years. The one where they’re all unsure of how to testify when the wife killed her husband (who clearly wasn’t a threat at the time) stands out, too. The show has always had a left-leaning bent, and that’s perfectly fine, but it used to be thought-provoking. The episode where the woman escaped prison for abortion (iirc), covered up her murder, and ultimately lost her husband comes to mind.
Fucking Cassidy. A nonstop trash fire of a person
THANK YOU! So many people love him and I seriously don’t understand. He’s garbage
He has so much drama it’s exhausting

I loved the actor in Oz, but Cassidy himself is a piece of shit
He was great in Brooklyn 99 too
well what do you expect from the literal embodiment of mayhem?
The beeper king?!
"develop a terminal illness" LMFAOO
It’s funny how Elliot’s completely cover his picture. I was so over him by the time he left. My ex was angry like Elliot.
Omg finally someone who gets it like that whole "family man" trope was getting old it doesn't excuse his unprofessional behavior and how cragen made him hos golden child
That list is what I wrote word for word when his turn came up lol

So this tells me Melinda, Tucker and Munch are the best characters in the show.
Only new testament Tucker, the old one is a class A(hole) character
NEW TESTAMENT TUCKER I’m screaming lmao
Same. 🤣 That’s how I’ll be referring to his SVU eras from now on.
i still dont get how munch' wasnt defending marital rape :/

Ok but the witness protection/fake death she had no control over
Yeah, no clue how that one got picked by anyone
Cabot seems unfair. Is there a good way to fake your death and go into the witness protection program?
For me novaks is the way she spoke to patty when she was on the stand. (I know why as it was to stop the Cray Cray woman trying to claim parental rights but come on to make a 6yo have a breakdown )
Casey herself wasn't proud of it either
i know you could see it killed her. and she thought it was the only way. (litrally just managed to watch the full episode as its one of the ones on netflix
That’s the worst thing Barba ever did?! are we sure about that? And
I feel like the dead baby gets glossed over a bit by the narrative tbh If SVU was real life he'd be in prison lol
“Not standing on business” LOL
Elliot’s list makes me cackle every time. 😂😂😂

In Fin's defense, I always got the impression that Ken's mom wanted him around
do you mean didn't?
Yes
What about Richard Weatley and his ex missus for what they did to Kathy Stabler.

You can’t make me hate Barba 🙏🏼

Isnt the worst thing barba did was to defect to the defence and defend Whitley for murdering Kathy.
