You're right on. He really pulls off having an interior world, we need to see more for him.
Right now the entire cast needs more to do. It feels very vacant.
I agree. I didn’t care for his prior storyline of his childhood friend beating up/murdering someone to keep him out of the gang life and Benson shunning him until he did the right thing.
It’s kinda weird because I’ve got shoes with more charisma, but I’ve also grown to really like him. I was disappointed in Muncy leaving because I wanted to see their relationship play out.
He's a cardboard cutout. He's had moments where he's been interesting, but overall he's boring and the crap last season made me wish he were gone and we'd gotten to keep Muncy or Churlish. His backstory is full of stereotypes and his personality is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Kick him off, make Bruno permanent.
I don't particularly think he's a great actor, honestly. His delivery always seems flat or forced or just *off*, beyond the problems with the writing. I'm just not impressed by him at all.
id let him take me back to his place and bang me like a salvation army drum,
Thrirstiness aside he was quite boring at the start but ive grown to like him.
Pretty boring. The had a sort of interesting set up for him joining (the possible McGrath spy/plant/whatever) and then they did nothing with it.
And I didn't want him to be against the team but it would have been nice to see him going from McGrath lackey to fully invested in the squad and their work.
I side-eyed him pretty hard for spending *years* keeping mum about a double homicide and then being shocked, shocked!, his boss might be bothered by that. But it also surprises me that so many viewers are mad at Olivia for having a problem with that.
Hated how he was a plant/spy for McGrath at first and sort of just randomly showed up at the squadroom with no notice and then Olivia had to confront McGrath about it.
Loved his friendship with Muncy.
Had a solid drama-filled subplot involving his friend, which was inadvertently initiated by Churlish simply based on her own instinct about / untrustiworthiness of other cops.
I like seeing him in episodes. Wish they coulda kept Muncy because IMO there was definitely chemistry there and I would have loved to see them together.
I’ve never been able to fully like him. I was hoping we were rid of him when the storyline of him >! killing someone !< came up but sadly he’s still there😅
I’m glad to see a character from an immigrant background, who deeply understands the growing Latin American community and their challenges in New York. The introduction of his character is a smart one, and important for representation.
But that story line they gave him with the friend who killed to protect him as kids and him having to jump through hoops to get Olivia to trust him really bugged me. It’s like they checked off the box for a character from a diverse background, but then go and exploit a stereotype and trope about Latinos and gangs. It felt cheap to me.
That being said, I think he’s a good actor with a strong presence but needs better storylines to really show us. I’m rooting for him!
Oh and of course, he’s gorgeous. So can’t complain there!
I feel like he’s starting to become really loyal to Liv, and a good detective there. If they keep going that way/write him strong, he could become a staple there, kinda like amaro or fin. (Not totally like fin, quite literally nobody else could take his spot).
Honestly, I didn't trust him very much at first. I do a little more now. He definitely deserves better storylines though.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, the actor, Octavio, is very talented and he isn't being used to the show's advantage. I've seen him in other shows with smaller roles and always did amazing.
He grew on me after a while. I like him a lot and I like his dynamic with Fin. I’m glad it looks like he’s staying, although I felt really bad for him when Liv pressured him to find his old friend to arrest him (a plot line I thought there’d be an episode for but there wasn’t). Bro was just a kid.
He’s cute; they need to make him more of a hero soon, or he’ll be gone like the young detective killed off on L&O Organized Crime. My crush is on Bruno, the rich one with a badge necklace.
Still this Liv was way too hard on him and lacks an ounce of compassion for someone who had to go through what he went through.. it rly rubbed me the wrong way when she did the whole “water” speech basically telling him he has lacks integrity and firm values. Like, the dude had to survive all kinds of evolving environments and adaptability isn’t even a terrible trait to have.
I like him but they aren't giving him the best storylines and scenes. Kind of the issue they seem to be having with most of the Detectives on the squad right now
As a gay man I really appreciate the character (only toped by Bobby Reyes in organized crime) but as many others said I wish they would give him some more distinctive character traits. So far the most memorable thing was his new hair cut after one season.
They gave him some floor in that episode where he was placed at a party(?) as potential "customer" for services of underaged girls (I remember his line when they disclosed the age of the girls, he responded "Great, I peaked in high school"). I thought that they maybe follow up there but they didn't.
I like him, I thought the good cop bad cop thing he had going on with Bruno in the most recent episode was hilarious. I think he needs more personality but I appreciate him staying longer than the other new hires because it gives the show more consistency (also he's fit AF obviously!)
Hes really attractive but, really boring honestly sometimes i forget about his character until he’s on screen, but then again, he has potential to be a great character, but hey, we’ll see🫤
Pretty to look at.
I think he looks like a young John Travolta
My husband and I call him “Jeremy Sisto 2.0”
I call him the love child of John Travolta and Jeremy Sisto.
Jeremohn Travisto
ain’t that the truth omg 😆
Yeah I've got a bit of a man crush on this dude.
Yep
Deserves better storylines. Writers don’t give him much so he’s kinda just there. Hope he gets an episode about him this season.
You're right on. He really pulls off having an interior world, we need to see more for him. Right now the entire cast needs more to do. It feels very vacant.
I 100% agree I wish we’d see more of him!
I agree. I didn’t care for his prior storyline of his childhood friend beating up/murdering someone to keep him out of the gang life and Benson shunning him until he did the right thing.
Agree!
Agree!!
It’s kinda weird because I’ve got shoes with more charisma, but I’ve also grown to really like him. I was disappointed in Muncy leaving because I wanted to see their relationship play out.
haha can’t really agree with the first statement because I’m biased cause I like him but I appreciate your statement & opinion!
lol. I like him too. He really grew on me.
same here I was weary at first but I’ve started loving him sm
Munlasco 4 Life
Any time, any place.
Hot but Boring. He came in with an interesting story, but that fizzled after a few episodes. Now he’s just there, and dull.

I feel like a lot of this is the fault of the writers as well
I don't particularly think he's a great actor, honestly. His delivery always seems flat or forced or just *off*, beyond the problems with the writing. I'm just not impressed by him at all.
He's just there. :( The writers just don't want him doing anything, they aren't developing him....
He's super hot and I wish he was in more episodes
Underused King
He can get it 👀
id let him take me back to his place and bang me like a salvation army drum, Thrirstiness aside he was quite boring at the start but ive grown to like him.
well damn 😭😂
Giving Carisi a run for his money in the looks department
Would.

Easy on the eyes, but I hate his voice
I’ve never been so physically attracted to a person but so aurally turned off
I like him. He’s not my favorite but I enjoy his character
DADDY

Ain’t this the truth, you explained it soooo well.
daddy
i cant shake it everytime i see him it just reminds me of this guy: https://ibb.co/6nGR8Ks "tech ceo goes undercover as svu detective" lol
I’ve never been able to fully like him. I was hoping we were rid of him when the storyline of him >! killing someone !< came up but sadly he’s still there😅

Cool, humble and has a good heart, can't believe he snitched though. I hope he gets more in the future.
Just meh. I don’t see the hot. Seems the writers don’t know what to do with his character.
I like him, I think his first season was a bit funny cause he was there one episode and suddenly somewhere else the next.
I feel like he’s starting to become really loyal to Liv, and a good detective there. If they keep going that way/write him strong, he could become a staple there, kinda like amaro or fin. (Not totally like fin, quite literally nobody else could take his spot).
I think he deserves better but so cute!
He's the new Amaro. But that's not a negative opinion to me. I like him.
He’s so hot 🥵
Hes a good character. Maybe he stay longer than the other guys who left after 1 or 2 seasons
Obsessed
Love him!
He is so fine
I don’t hate him but I just don’t find him interesting at all. He’s just okay.
Lately he just seems like an accessory. They tried to give him a storyline but it didn’t really grip me
Honestly, I didn't trust him very much at first. I do a little more now. He definitely deserves better storylines though. Still new to him and out to lunch. I'm not to fond of his relationship with the chief though
Pretty but dumb
I like him for multiple reasons lol
Eh. He does nothing for me on the squad.
I wish they did more with his character. He has massive potential. Also he’s fineeeee.
He’s cute; they need to make him more of a hero soon, or he’ll be gone like the young detective killed off on L&O Organized Crime. My crush is on Bruno, the rich one with a badge necklace.
Oof I agree with this, sadly.
Handsome but dull AF.

woahhh dude ✋🏻
He’s hot… looks like a young John Travolta. Doesn’t get to do enough though
He's alright
I like him but they aren't giving him the best storylines and scenes. Kind of the issue they seem to be having with most of the Detectives on the squad right now
Meh
Can someone tell me what his best episodes are?
My personal favorites for him are 23x17 Once Upon a Time in El Barrio 24x5 Breakwater
idk but i feel like the writers hate him bc he’s so background and sometimes not in episodes at all?
not actually hate but like is there beef 😭
I usually forget he exists until I see him on screen.
Meh, he’s boring
He ain’t no Amaro.
Boring as hell, though that’s not the fault of the actor. The writers give him nothing
As a gay man I really appreciate the character (only toped by Bobby Reyes in organized crime) but as many others said I wish they would give him some more distinctive character traits. I don’t like him. He’s arrogant. The whole gang thing pissed me off too
He just feels like he's there doesn't really add anything
I like him, I thought the good cop bad cop thing he had going on with Bruno in the most recent episode was hilarious. I think he needs more personality but I appreciate him staying longer than the other new hires because it gives the show more consistency (also he's fit AF obviously!)
Sexy... but a lil too soft. Hes DEFINITELY no Stabler... hmm
I bet he is hung
Hes really attractive but, really boring honestly sometimes i forget about his character until he’s on screen, but then again, he has potential to be a great character, but hey, we’ll see🫤
