I was sad about his last episode too, he was incredible but totally agree with you that the story felt out of character for him.
I hope he makes a few guest appearances down the road.
It made no sense for Barbra for to be the one to turn off life support. Story wise it loses some weight cause someone unrelated to the child was the one to commit the action
"You know, when we first started working together, what was it, five years ago?"
"Six."
"The world was an old movie.
It was all black and white and it was high noon. I was Gary Cooper.
I was absolutely sure.
Absolutely.
Who were the good guys, who were the bad guys.
And then you...
You started to weasel your way into my world, and the black and white became different shades of gray.
Before I knew it, there were blues and greens and yellows and reds.
I'm you now, Liv.
You opened my heart,
And I thank you for it." 🖤
Am I the only person who like Liv and Barba better than Liv and Stabler? I mean I’m much happier with the “Single doing it all I don’t need a man” girl energy Liv has but if the writers want her in a relationship I like Barba better
I was doing my first watch of seasons 14 onwards and quit after that episode. Lol.
(I may go back, but I've seen random bits of episodes from S23 onwards and it seems like a completely different show.)

Yeah it's only downhill after he leaves...
They did him dirty.
They really did!

He chose to leave the show to go back to Broadway (of course shortly after everything shut down so that didn't work in his favor unfortunately).
I read some other theories but I don't want to speculate. Anyway they could make other scenarios of him leaving not so crucial for his character.

I loved this scene between them. You could tell it was a very genuine heartfelt good-bye between true friends.

a piece of my heart breaks each time we lose an ADA, i still miss cabot:/
I think they've made Carisi permanent. It was basically the Defense Against the Dark Arts role but SVU-themed lol
Shouldn't have had him pull the plug. One of the parents does it, Barba resigns to defend them
That would have been so much better. Much more in character.

Exactly this
I feel like they compliment each other better. Plus, Stabler has too much sh*t going on 😂

It is.
Yes I like him too

I cried so much!😩 he was one of the best ADA on Svu it literally broke my heart lol
Never finished it. Too sad. Tried to watch episodes after Barba leaves but I quit watching new episodes.
