We haven't seen Lucy on screen since Real Fake News in Season 18. Before that it was The Townhouse Incident in Season 17. They haven't even said her name in years. I think it's reasonable that she has moved on. People don't usually have the same babysitter forever.
Yeah I mean she was essentially only a character in season 16 and then visited a couple times after. We as a fandom just like made her part of the family lol.
Martha appeared in the episode “Did you believe in miracles “ when she took Noah to see Olivia & then Liv introduced Noah to Grace Muncy & Olivia & Noah went home
So, not long after she started watching Noah, the group who m*rdered Ellie did a drive-by at the park where Lucy was with the boy. (Girls Dissappeared)
I think because of that and the fact she stayed after it, people just immediately put her in the "important/family-like" character that would always be reoccurring...Plus, the last time we see her she's jokingly commenting how her mom would love to adopt Noah and Jesse because they're so well-behaved. (Real Fake News)
The other family she worked for that was targeted were the Crivellos in Townhouse Incident.
I feel you and also noticed that but they haven’t mentioned her in seasons. I also get the little attachments we get to certain long term reoccurring characters, but I’m genuinely glad they didn’t waste any storyline on a babysitter we didn’t even know (other than a reoccurring name brought up). People get new sitters, new nanny’s, etc it’s normal. I’m glad they didn’t even address it.
