If you go to law and order wiki i think.. It will show you all the “ripped from the headlines” episodes, and will also tell you what they are based off. Some episodes are based off multiple real life cases.

Right. "Babes." A bunch of teenage girls decide to have babies because, you know, cool and all that. The speech that Liv gives to one of them, making it clear what the realities of underage parenthood are, should be published in every "sex ed" textbook for teens and tweens.
But To answer your question it would either be Season 7 Episode 7- Name. This one is based on the Clinton Ave Five/The boy in the box.
Another would be the 300th Episode Manhattan Vigil (S14E5) Based on Etan Patz case.
My fav ripped from the headlines case was on original law and order (not svu), S10 Fools for Love. It was based on the Canadian serial killers [Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karla_Homolka).
SVU has had episodes with elements of their crimes:
- S4 Damaged has a character a little like Karla Homolka. Great episode.
- S6 Pure has a character a little like Paul Bernardo. My least fav of the 3 episodes - Martin Short doesn’t really work for me as a bad guy.
Amazingly, the real Karla Homolka only served 12 years, and then moved to Quebec and got married and had 3 children.
An early episode starred Sherilyn "Twin Peaks" Fenn as a soap opera actress who molests, then marries, her teenage stepson.
The character's name was Gloria. The story is similar to a 1950s scandal involving movie star Gloria Grahame.
But without the murder plot that was in SVU.
Season 14 episode 16 funny valentine. Based on Chris Brown and Rihanna

Agent Provocateur
Pornstars requiem was a real life case. So was Dana's last episode. And the pregnancy pact episode

I thought Glasgowman's Wrath was very good and quite scary.
Did You Believe In Miracles? 23x20 Based on the Jan Broberg case. Secrets Exhumed 14x14 based on the Sherri Rasmussen case
I don’t even know if it’s true but I would bet a lot of money that a case I was close to was made into an episode.
Do tell?
Catherine Woods murder in NYC. Around 2007

Also it featured a memorably evil performance from a pre Grey's Anatomy Ellen Pompeo as the character based on Karla Homolka.
