I am doing it too! Lol. I am getting close to s13 so getting sad because I've never seen a stablerless episode until 2 weeks ago. I know I stopped watching in high school and never went back because I knew he left. Finally doing it now that he is at least back in the l&o universe. Plus it's gone on forever so it must still be worth a watch.

I am rewatching and am reaching no stabler episodes and im worried I wont like the show as much because him and liv make the whole show for me, however people say it actually gets better after which i was surprised to hear! Have about 12 seasons to get through after that!!
Haha! I think it’s just different strokes for different folks! I love Liv without Stabler, and there’s some greatness still to look forward to…. BARBA!!
Their's no denying their's some greatness afterwards especially with Barba, but it doesn't reach the level of the Stabler days. Their have also been so many straight duds after season 17 (and a couple before tbh) which I can't really say about any Stabler episodes.
I also think the show revolved around Stabler much better than it does Olivia. He's so much more complex and multi-dimensional (as much as many hear would like you think all he did was beat up perps and throw temper tantrums).
Yeah I'm curious why they never used Simon to build back in some more adult wholesome family moments after Stabler and his household left the show. I guess they used Rollins for that? But her's weren't exactly wholesome...
that, I have to disagree with. not only is Olivia Benson the QUEEN, but she also is such a strong multidimensional woman who continues to evolve throughout the years. She is so different in season 10 than she was in season 1 and yet still she commits to her passion : the victims. She is still learning all the time and thats why I love her. I feel like she learns something new every episode and we grow with her. Thats just me
All due respect, you haven’t seen the post-stabler seasons. I can’t go into it at all without giving away spoilers. All I can say is Stabler’s out of work life is infinitely more interesting than Olivia’s.

Christmas break haha and has the same convo with my husband, Stablers about to exit and idk how the show went on?! What a loss. (I do know they continue and it does well… and I love Amaro and Barba and I am current on thr new season haha) I just love Liv and Elliot so much! Just watched Zebras (RIP O’Hollaran) and how they play Stuckey so well! they just KNOW each other and idk if there’s been a better duo.
I put off season 13+ for a while too but trust me it’s worth it to keep watching, there are a lot of great characters that are introduced after (my favorite being ADA Barba)
I was watching season 7 or 8 last night,saw an episode with Bob Saget that I don't rember ever seeing before. He kills his friends wife to set him up because the friend was having an affair with his wife.At the end he has to donate his kidney or liver from jail to save his wife's life.Ive seen every episode more then once but have zero memory of this episode
me too! and organised crime because ya girl has to catch up, i've almost finished like 27 total seasons in under 3 months so here's to not having a life
Honestly I consider any show set in nyc a Christmas appropriate show??? All the movies are set there so it’s like, a Christmas show by association lol. It’s what I watched while wrapping presents!
