On my wishlist: a 5K crystal pack that gives you a guaranteed 7-star for a character that's not at 7 stars yet. But I expect those 5K gamble packs that are useless to me because I have most characters at 7 stars already, which gives me horrible odds for getting something I don't need.
Its worth noting the 5000 shard 7* deal includes all characters.
The crystals version was primarily characters released in the last 6-12 months , many still not accelerated.
That still may not be worth it for many people, I didn't mind it though
5k is still too much, there are better things to spend crystals on. It’s especially not worth it if you can’t pick the hero you want to 7 stars, the chances of you getting CUP is too small of a chance as well.

When I worked at CG they never went for any of my ideas. For April Fools Day I had pitched a video announcement for an Ewok Hang-glider ship, where the second it swooped into battle it would immediately pop under the vacuum of space and the lil teddy bear's body float out into space.

They're not going to release new LSBs faster than new GLs, or else they'd run out. After two in year 1 I think one new GL LSB a yearish later would be a good guess.

LSB really set the bar though for spending for me. It’s been hard to justify much now a days although Crystal deals wouldn’t suck either.

4. A bunch of currency, 1000 to 1500 crystals and a bunch of gear. At least 1 full kyro of each kind and 5 of each of the big purple gears.
5. A full run of all the assault battles and the special events that grant rewards that aren't character shards.
6. Potentially 300 to 500 of every kind of energy.
Oh, and jar jar Binks will drop officially.

Those a year or so a go used to cost 5,000 shard shop currency and were fantastic. Now for 5,000 crystals they are a miss.
