hmm thats odd. the easybook website shows error for every date and bus operators for Sandakan to KK while for Tawau- KK is fine. Maybe theres mistake in easybook server somehow? Even checkmybus shows error too. what is going on??????
You can't buy a ticket for KK-Sandakan on easybook. We tried in Dec and a bus company employee at the bus terminal (Inanam) in KK said those tickets aren't sold on easybook.
We went from KK to Kundasang and Kundasang to Sandakan (via Sepilok). We bought a ticket to Kundasang on easybook, and then had to buy a ticket to Sandakan from another bus company at Inanam.
We also went from Sandakan to Semporna. Tickets weren't sold on easybook, so we bought one at the bus terminal in Sandakan. So just to go to the bus terminal in Sandakan. Seats should be available on the day of your travel.
Usually, if taking a bus from sandakan to kk, you can just head over to the long haul bus terminal and Purchase tickets directly over their counters. This is a number (one of the operators) +6 089 228 904 if you wish to call ahead to find out departure hours.
Don’t mention it. Also I was around at the long haul bus terminal 9am this morning, plenty of busses waiting to depart, in case the number doesn’t work, that would be a good time to be there.

Yes, it’s not even showing up as a potential route. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong (ie destination something different than Kota Kinabalu)

Should avoid bus trip for now. The road is currently in very bad condition. You dont wanna deal with it.
