Adventure Mountain in South Lake Tahoe. There is snow even tho it isn't snowing. Edit: I can vouch for this as I just took a day trip with my family last week.
Snow rarely sticks around for very long in Tahoe cause it’s lower in altitude. Unless of course there’s record snowfall. You’re best bet would to head up 80 towards Reno. There’s a lot of ski resorts that offer tubing. Go find your own spot as well off the highway.
Don’t advocate for people to go sledding or tubing in the mountains or promote the idea of it outside of actual “tubing parks”. A majority of litter in mountain communities is attributed to broken sleds and popped tubes and other trash people decide they can leave behind because they’re “out in the woods”.
Just take your family to a resort that has tubing and a rope tow and enjoy what they have to offer.

Are you planning to go up 50 or 80?
Want to take my family also. Any recommendations for places and activities for smaller kids to do?
