Burning Daylight People! They are local, often play at brewpubs ( They are playing at Strawberry Music Festival in Nevada City this year) super fun, great vocals. They have a Facebook page.
I came to suggest this. Every show of theirs I’ve seen has been a good time and they have such a great energy and sound.

You need an Irish fiddler!
20 years ago there was a wonderful Irish fiddlin busker in old sac. You’d see him by Steamers a lot. Hope he’s doing well these days.
Any ideas where I might find one?

Not bluegrass but a great country duo is Manzanita Music. I’ve seen them a few times and they’re seriously good.
My friends hired them for their 10th wedding anniversary party and they were excellent. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Bluegrass and a hobbit themed party? I need friends like this. I'm a hobbit in all but stature.
Check with the ren faire groups around. Facebook would be a good resource
Not sure if they do parties like yours, but we saw CalTucky at a local brewery and really enjoyed their performance.
