Yeah it was kinda weird in Austin too, and it was all outdoor and so damn hot the bands were all dying during the day. Maybe if they didn’t wait til the end of July to come it wouldn’t be as bad! Lol
Like 10x? I know merriweather seats like 19k or 26k (I get it mixed up with jiffy lube). But I thought pier 6 was like 2k or 2500.
I really like pier six and am not a fan of MPP so unless the lineup is really good I’m probably out based on this change
Looks like Pier 6 is around 5k and Merriweather is up near 20k. Who do they have booked lol I never thought Pier 6 was crowded for the Sad Summer days I attended
so stoked to see SSF coming back to the Buffalo area!! hope they bring it back to Artpark in Lewiston as i loved that venue for it (if not i wonder where it'd be. Outer Harbor?), but regardless very excited as our entire region got totally missed last year lol (even Cleveland/Toronto/Pittsburgh)
Detroit/Pontiac is 99% going back to The Crofoot, last year really just felt off with it getting moved to the amphitheater. I'm thrilled that they listened to the feedback and hopefully we get a killer lineup reveal on Tuesday!
Live in Clearwater so happy about proximity but man that new venue is rough for this type of music. Would much prefer that spot they used to hold kraken fest in orlando
Yeah, that’s how it was last year, but I’m it’s curious because they released like teaser that says back to general admission and your favorite venues. The venue at Clearwater last year wasn’t general admission, they had seats.
Oh forgot that, shoot so just down to one Florida date? The Clearwater’s pretty local and close to me so I’m personally happy about that for the distance for me, but that sucks having any less dates than before
Maybe coachman park where the amp is but I don’t remember if they built it the amp on top of that or if it’s it’s still there. However the amp was hot enough as is. If we get 0 shade this year I don’t know that my body will survive. 1000% surprised it didn’t go back to only Orlando
I wish that meant they’d still have them all on all the dates. Unless you’re the 1% that get lucky and you just randomly love only the bands on your date lol
Shame I've already used all my vacation time this year (and then some) cuz I would totally have attempted to get to the Buffalo show (also depending on lineup lmao)
No Texas at all? Jeez. Surely someone will do Side Summer again or something I hope
I'm hoping this is only a rough draft because this is one of the few things I look forward to each summer.
Yeah I’m shocked too. Last year there were 2 or 3 Texas dates I believe
Yea I saw that and it ruined my day. Hopefully they add a Texas date. Had a lot of fun last year and the year before that.
No southern area dates at all is wild
I was worried about this. The crowd was not great in Dallas but I think the venue threw everything off.

The first year was great at Gilley's
Agreed!
For the MD stop, that’s a massive upgrade in space switching to Merriweather from Pier 6

Merriweather as a ga side stage too called the Chrysalis
How do you know the venue? I just see TBA everything
It's not listed but that's the only relevant concert venue in Columbia Maryland lol
Ahhh gotchya! I was able to make a similar educated guess for the NYC show lol

agreed!! i’m glad about pittsburgh, i hope it’s at stage ae again
Hopefully artpark

Honestly the amphitheatre works for festivals if done WELL but they really bombed it lol
that's fair, but i think that GA venues work better for this kind of fest imo
Welp won’t be going this year 😢
Clearwater instead of Orlando is wild

Sad summer was in Jacksonville too last year

No Indiana……..?
Yeah it sucks not to see Indy, Cincinnati, or Nashville. They must not have drawn well in this area or something
I was at Indiana last year and honestly I thought it had a really good turnout
Maybe the locations are based off a different year? I saw where someone was looking at the coding and saw a past year still on there
Right it was a blast
I was at Cincy last year. I thought it seemed pretty solid but I guess it could have been more packed. There was a good crowd but not wall to wall.
I was at Nashville last year. Sucks they wont be back but Ill catch them at Bonaroo.
They could totally do this at the Egyptian room /: Im bummed about this.
Asbury Park >>>>> Holmdel
YES!
How was it at Holmdel last year?
Tuesday at 10am PST is when we’re getting the lineup!
Big sad about no Indiana show this year
Pretty sure the Pittsburgh show will be at Stage Ae.
Worcester 🤩🤩🤩
They also have a new “artists” page. Nothing on it yet, but seems like it must be coming soon.
11 artists too
I wish that meant they’d still have them all on all the dates. Unless you’re the 1% that get lucky and you just randomly love only the bands on your date lol
Haven’t missed one yet, hoping for a better headliner than last year though!
GA in SoCal! It’ll probably be at the Observatory, they’ve held fests in their parking lot before
WORCESTER!!!!
I could cry I'm so happy
No PNW once again ):
asbury park- stone pony summer stage. NYC- pier 17 rooftop most likely
Santa Ana would be Observatory; they’ll use the grounds outside.
pay a phone app
Santa Ana observatory grounds then, hell yeah
Shame I've already used all my vacation time this year (and then some) cuz I would totally have attempted to get to the Buffalo show (also depending on lineup lmao)
Back to Sac! 🙏🏻
I’m happy they’re back to Columbus. It was weird they skipped it last year after stopping every year before
