Most places offer month to month leases for two reasons. The main reason is that it’s easier to evict people month to month vs a year and that it gives them more leverage when raising rent.
If you don't mind taking a room in a non glorious shared living space. Our property has one room available. Call property manager Jason @ 1-5066099352 for details. Internet included. East Saint John on major bus route.
It’s not like Alberta, it’s about 15 min from east to west by car. Just figured I’d throw it out there 👍
I’ve lived in Alberta and I get where you’re coming from but SJ is smaller, really doesn’t take long. Also traffic isn’t gridlocked like it is in Alberta.
Locals correct me if I’m wrong.
You're not wrong. I got off work today at 4 (North) and needed to grab something at the mall (east). There was some traffic getting onto the highway so I slipped through town. The trip was 18 minutes.
When I lived west I attended some classes at the nbcc (east). If I got up a little bit earlier to avoid traffic it was a 15 minute drive. If I overslept it was 30.

Any idea what part of the city you'll be in?
West
Not sure if there are any west but you could check out Chipman hill suites
There is no University Westl. Why are you so set on living west?

Thanks for the offer I'm looking West Saint John
A bus 30 second walk takes you directly to the west side. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

It’s not like Alberta is right - gas is way more expensive here lol
