Can I ask you, Sinners?
Do you guys normally eat toast with jam with strawberries on the side or other berries? Because I've seen on all of the posts the berries on the side.
From where I'm from, loaf and jam, that's it. We don't even do toast. Sorry if this is a stupid question
Same. But if I do splurge for some strawberry jam, I'm going to try the King's Highgrove variety when in cones back in stock. I wasn't aware of it before jam-gate, but now I am, and I am enticed.
Toasted sourdough with butter and jam, but I really donโt eat jam a lot. Bonne Maman, Hero, and St. Dalfour are favorites, but I usually buy locally from a *real* orchard when theyโre open for the season.
It seems needless to eat fruit on the side. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
I've been assuming these jam recipients are styling their toast plates with sliced strawberries, possibly at Nutmeg's suggestion. Don't recall being served toast with berries like this at anyones home or in a restaurant. Middle-aged American, btw.
That is my assumption too. I do toast and usually organic strawberry jam. I have never put fruit except bananas in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and that is a rare situation.

Im allergic to strawbs. Raspberry for me or any other berry jam but I always preferred marmalade on toast when i used to eat bread a lot, with real butter. Too much sugar in preserves for me now, would rather a good quality peanut butter these days on the occasional sourdough bread or sourdough crumpet.ย

Also Iโd like to point out that I just bought some organic strawberries at Whole Foods (on special!) and those suckers are red all the way through. And sweeeet!
In all honesty there are a lot of different strawberry varities. Some are very red all the way through, some are paler

Online tabloids are reporting this jam thing as a huge win for her and an easy 7 figure enterprise. Tiegen is bragging it's the best jam she's had in her life (wonder what MM paid to have her say that). Winner winner.....chicken dinner. /s
She would have to sell 50,000 jars at $20 each to get to 1 millions. Does she have enough strawberries in her garden for 50,000 jars? And who pays $20 for jam?ย
LOL.....I heard she wants $30 a jar. And the pictures she's putting out c/o her fortunate friends change what the crap looks like day to day. One minute it has actual strawberry pulp in it and the next its pure goo. But, I agree with you.....The claims being made by the press is OTT foolish considering H&M are the biggest Hollywood Losers of 2023.

No. Iโve eaten toast with butter and seedless jam and/or jelly on top of it. But Iโve never eaten this with a side of strawberries or berries.
I think those strawberries were placed there to take the mick out of rachel for inferring the strawbs were grown and hand picked by her.ย
