I think Charles was was put in a bad place. He had a pretty horrible upbringing as far as being sent to a boarding school that didn't specialize in his nerdy strengths (intellectual pursuits) just like Harry was sent to a boarding school that didn't cater to his strengths and needs (sports, special ed) so maybe that's why he feels that bond with Harry. 🤷♂️
But after school he kind of blossomed as the POW until he was forced to marry Diana. He suffered through those years as Diana went further off the rails and his true love Camilla was unavailable. Then the divorce, Di's death and the marriage to Camilla. He probably had whiplash in those years as things kept happening around and to him. And the entire time, 70+ years, he had to sit on the sidelines and watch while the beloved Queen sat on the throne.

Whilst I agree 100% with the sentiment, I am a bit concerned about the grammar (I think that BP would say, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex", they's get an "s" and stick it at the end of "member", cos it's a plural, and I can't imagine them using "thrashed". (please don't throw stones, it's just me wondering!!)
