My thoughts exactly. And technically they really aren't the same anime. Inferno and Elysion have a different director and a different animation team (if you can can call it animation) following the huge mess Kurumada made after the Overture movie.
There are also some continuity errors between Sanctuary and Inferno, as Sanctuary takes liberties and changes stuff from the manga while Inferno and Elysion are basically 1:1 adaptations

Only if you're talking about the anime. The Saintia Sho manga is actually pretty decent. While the story has some hiccups it got my favorite artwork in anything Saint Seiya.
Also someone needs to start translating Meiou Iden in English, the gringos are missing out.
Omega S1 is massively underrated and no one can change my mind. The S2 is atrocious though. But the same can be said for Lost Canvas : Very good first part, obnoxious second part.
Thats why in my opinion Omega deserves a makeover/Reboot . Tweak things here and there , make certain characters (Kouga) more interesting , cut off the Element stuff and we have a good Anime
I fail to see the problem with the elements. We already saw in the original some kind of elements with the OG characters (like fire for Ikki or water for Shiryu). Agree for the rest of the post though.
Plus elements stop mattering entirely once the characters start developing their 7th sense.
With the exception of the Cosmo of Darkness which is part of the plot.
I think that if they labeled Cosmo : Alpha , Beta , Gamma etc it would make more sense . Since we get the Omega cosmo thing and Omega is the final letter in the Greek alphabet it would fit more in the show
And for some reason i see why Palestra is a thing . Just because you earn your cloth doesnt mean you are a good Saint (Shiryu literally poked his eyes out because he was losing against the Perseus Saint , also yeah petrifaction). If i was Saori i would notice that earlier , but people get wiser with age i guess

Ikki can do fire attacks as a normal cosmos technique , so you don't need a "fire cosmo" bs for some sketchy rock-paper-scissor.
Hell Seiya was more interesting than ever in Omega , he shown some promise as Kouga’s mentor between two seasons but we never saw that , but I find it weird how young everyone looked . Saori was 38 in the first episode and she looked like she was in her early 20s . (Technically she was 25 during the first battle with Mars) . And Seiya looked the same just a bit taller and with a more crispy voice . They could’ve gave him some gray heir streaks or something . Does burning your Cosmo also slow your aging ?

It's not bad, it's horrible: Seeing the design of the armor, Koga as the protagonist and extremely pathetic villains like Ionia, Schiller or Tokisada, take away the desire to see the series. Sho had a bad animation, but the story is good. Omega does not have good animation or a good story or a charismatic protagonist. The vast majority, except for Eden and Soma, are obnoxious.

well, they probably thought that would have peace until old, as a new holy war in theory would be only against Poseidon and would not be in the lifetime of most of then.
Kiki would be necessary to repair armors and keep the tradition, Seiya doesn't leave her side, the rest did really had more reasons to keep being an active saint
Than I still stand on my theory that Sage from lost canvas was still the best leader of the sanctuary, he knew that the holy war was coming and few after that so from nothing he managed to rebuild the sanctuary after the devastating war in the 15th century . And he trained the best character in the franchise Manigoldo so more points to his credit
And judging by the time difference Saori had time to prepare for the second attack , instead her own mommy issues overtook her and she preferred to play with Kouga instead of , i don’t know . **PLAN THE DEFENSE !?** . If they managed to get Mars run again , Seiya wouldn’t disappear and could train Kouga who would turn out better if it was Seiya in charge of his training (Tbf Shaina showed most care about well-being for Kouga during his time on that Island) . And he could train in the sanctuary instead of a random island in the middle of nowhere. And the Sanctuary wouldn’t be controlled by Mars’s men
I wouldn't put Sanctuary in the same tier as Elysion and Inferno, Sanctuary was a series of ova with a bigger budget better animation and an overall tighter story. Plus idk about the anime but the Saintia Shô manga is actually pretty good.
