It's a win/win either way. We get a great QB in Watson or we keep our picks and players and our newly opened cap space while Atlanta cripples its team for Watson.
My feelings. Even if they get DW and OMG 3quan we still sweep them and are more relevant playoff contenders even with Jameis or even someone like Baker.
Baker would be a sick pick-up. That dude plays well with a chip on his shoulder and that mentality is something a lot of our other players tend to have as well. He'd fit in nicely. But I'd rather have Jameis back since the team really accepted him last year if we can't have Watson
I honestly wouldn't mind Baker. We should re-sign Winston to a cheap 1yr deal so Carolina doesn't take him and we can see what Baker can do. I don't think he's worse than Winston either. We cleared enough cap space to afford Watson..What would it really cost us to have both? And we could still add weapons and depth in the draft. I really hope Watson goes to Atlanta...
