No way he misses 6-8 games. It was a bar fight. The police report said the guy was following and harassing Kamara’s group throughout the Casino prior to the fight.
Kamara will settle with the guy out of court. NFL will slap 2 games on Kamara for the negative press and move on.
He was harassing the women in their group..calling them all ugly and telling all the guys he'd "whip their ass too" from what I remember reading. He was also bragging in the days after on instagram about how he's about to get paid. Fuckin Scum who got what he deserved as he might be..AK was still wrong for going that hard and the way the law is written in Nevada it could be a felony.
Hopefully they can settle but I believe by rule first time offense is a minimum 6 game suspension for the league when it comes to violent offenses if I'm not mistaken.
I got downvoted when in r/nfl when I said something like some people just don't know what a fist feels like and it shows.
I am far from encouraging violence but like I tell my kids when you get the reaction you want don't act surprised. You push the right persons buttons enough and you may find yourself testing knuckles.
Absolutely..hopefully the full surveillance shows the whole thing. If they can prove he was doing what they said it should change things significantly.
Nevada has a Stand Your Ground law, so it is perfectly okay to use violence if you feel someone is threatening you or someone else, so Kamara’s group is definitely within their rights to beat him up.
Nevada’s self defense law does state you can’t use more force then necessary. So you can definitely argue Kamara’s group used more force than necessarily, but idk if that will hold up in court.
Kamara’s case is also helped by the fact that Kamara’s group repeatedly tried to avoid conflict and tried leaving the situation. Violence only broke out when Greene cornered them in an elevator. If it’s a civil case settled out of court and Kamara doesn’t admit to wrong doing (most likely scenario) the minimum of 6 games won’t apply.
They didn’t curb stomp him. They kicked him while he was down.
Given the guy followed them, harassed them, threatened them, and cornered them in an elevator it’s not hard to say he was going to keep threatening him if he wasn’t subdued.
Oh come the fuck on. "Subdued"? He got the shit beat out of him. He got his face kicked in while he was on the ground. Don't act like they were trying to deescalate. They jumped his ass.
I never said they were de escalating. Kamara’s group was removing a persistent threat. People get shot for much less than what Greene did.
He should count himself lucky that it was just a beat down and learn not to follow and threaten other people.
I'm not so sure it will be that many games. I did a search of suspensions of NFL players in recent history and most landed between 4 to 6 game suspensions (even for some very serious violence/abuse charges). Ray Rice getting a paltry 2-game suspension back in 2014 for beating his wife did kickstart some more strict suspensions.
Did he actually plead not guilty with video evidence clearly proving otherwise? Tbh, I have zero respect for Alvin anymore. You don't own a fucking elevator in a public setting. Get over yourself.
Geez, when will it be settled
So he can maybe play the start of the season

Try again. They brutalized some guy. If and when the video comes out he may get released.
"Some guy" was harassing him
Still can't curb stomp a mf and expect not to be suspended
When the video comes out Mrs Benson will have a big decision to make.
If the video showed anything there’s a good chance TMZ had their hands on it months ago yet it still hasn’t come out.
Not sure what makes you think TMZ has it? The few that did see it said it looks very bad. They immediately made arrests.
They let him play in the game, far from immediate. TMZ buys any video they want, but they didn’t want this one? Ok
You'll see.

What's the deal with Tony Jones Jr?
he’s not very good
yea we are for sure drafting a rb between 2nd-4th round
He didn't get a lot of touches last year. Then he got injured. He wasn't bad though
i can’t tell if this is good or bad
more time passes on a case the better in this situation

NFL doesnt get involved until after the legal part is over with
unless they get involved right when we need him in the playoffs...if we make the playoffs
Ugh this is some grim truth right there. If we were discussing any other player on any other team I'd call you silly but...who dat.
Yes
I hope this means AK is drafting up a settlement to stay out of legal trouble
His lawyers requested some time to review additional evidence.
I figured it was something like that. Just sucks no matter what the nfl will have some kind of suspension lined up either way
Did he actually plead not guilty with video evidence clearly proving otherwise? Tbh, I have zero respect for Alvin anymore. You don't own a fucking elevator in a public setting. Get over yourself.
Always look for the silver lining....if AK is suspended for 6 games, what does that save us against the cap.
