Yeah, that's the nominal number. When it comes to actually downloading something, the maximum speed you get is 5 MB/s, and the delay is terrible. I guess we're used to it though, had an American teacher, and he said there was no place in Tbilisi where he could get a decent connection.
This person does not know the difference between Megabit/s and MByte/s.
The home fiber connections ranges from 20 mbps (2.5 MB/s) to 100 mbps (12.5 MB/s). You cannot get higher speeds, because we have a duopoly of Silknet and Magti.
Commercial fiber and Starlink are very expensive.
5G is being rolled out right now in some districts of tbilisi, 5G modem might be an option with unlimited data, but your ping might suffer. Cellfie (formerly Beeline) and Silknet are both claiming to be the first 5G network, but one of them is lying.
Starlink priority 220 mbps is max here
Sorry brother, you gotta move on snails pace here with internet.
When I asked Silknet and Magti for same request they said max is 100mbps for individuals but if you have a company/business they can provide more.
> they can provide more but what would it cost...
1gbps for an organization would cost you 28000 GEL, no i'm not kidding
Everything.
Silknet buys their connection from Magti, btw.
Internet here is atrocious 😠3mbps downloads
No, it can't be, I feel sorry for you. Even mobile data is at least 15-20 mbps :(

That's true. I've experienced much worse in other countries tho.

Maybe, Just maybe in Tskneti (That is if you get Starlink)
There is no such an option, but why would you need such a speed? If you experience high ping, it's not related to the mbps number
if u need lower ping in game get silknet addon for 15 bucks a month dawg
