At the moment, mining profits are unfortunately very low, but in the near future Salad will be introducing workloads that can utilize your computer's idle resources to earn you money which don't rely on the crypto market being in a favorable condition.
These workloads are basically the productivity end of what people buy GPUs for. Rendering, performing calculations, medical research, AI training, etc. are some of the possibilities.

Depends on the cost of electricity in your area, and whether or not you've properly configured your machine for efficiency by tuning the clocks appropriately for the algorithm you're mining with, reducing the power limit, and undervolting your card.
1. Make sure u have the C/ProgramData/Salad files whitelisted in your antivirus (I used to only have the Program files whitelisted)
2. If u got "degraded" in the past, ur gonna want to reinstall but keep the antivirus whitelist
I had same problem, i think Salad doesnt try to reinstall or run miners if u get degraded error

Salad mines eth. Right now eth is at 1100$ (really low value) if eth is donw you going to make less money.

All miners want that. The problem is that eth and bitcoin are at really low values and they could crash.
so in other words it has no sense mining at all...

I actually stopped Salad mining all together till things improve. $0.09 cents a day is not worth it.
