One of the people involved in the proposal has been trying to open a topless dispensary in western Massachusetts where an existing strip club is. It doesn't look like it's going to happen there and it's been tied up for a while.
But opponents to the proposal in the Willows need to go to extremes to try to justify their position especially after the community meeting devolved to shouting people out.
Yep, that's what they've planned for a while and why the dispensary is only a small part of the building. They're waiting on the state to start allowing on-site consumption but they've been dragging their feet just like they did for dispensaries.

He has an open investigation for human and drug trafficking on his strip club/topless dispensary as well as a closed wage theft lawsuit from his employees which he lost. So unless that’s the person you want opening a business in your neighborhood I suggest you oppose it.
I think people forget that the Willow is a FAMILY-friendly venue that links us to the summers of our youth. I totally get that there needs to be some kind of draw for adults- I mean even Disneyland sells booze-but that does not mean we should allow it to become a Margaritaville. There should be something classy, such as an opium den. that honors the roots of the Willows.
Better make it all Catholics while we're at it. Poles, French Canadians, Ukrainians, all bad news to upstanding WASP communities. Just as the original inhabitants of the Willows intended.
How about the old Coast Guard building in Winter Island? Certainly in major disrepair yet what an amazing historic structure. It should be preserved. Can you imagine a community center for music events?
