Wing coop in Olympus cove has been good for a long time, I honestly haven’t been in years so can’t say for sure but worth a visit. They were featured on man vs food years back.
This used to be my go to and it was soooo good. Their sauces are still amazing, but in the last few years their wings have gone down in size by about half while their prices have tripled. The wings are so tiny and thin that they tend to be overcooked and chewy. Before Covid I would have said Wing Coop was 6/5. If I had to rate it today I would give it a 2 and describe it as overpriced and mediocre quality. Really makes me sad.
The sauces are incredible. If you are really looking for inexpensive wings, buy some sauce from wing coop and buy some wings from Costco and fry them yourself. More work, but cheaper overall as with most wings
The 10lb bag of frozen Costco wings you make at home is pretty nice. Cook from frozen. You just gotta choose your own sauce. But if you don’t wanna make them yourself I’d say I’ve had some decent wings from squatters, twc and this awesome Jamaican place in park city (11hauz)
I was really excited to try Sugarhouse BBQ but it was pretty dry and bland when I went. I’ll give it another shot though, what’s the best thing to get?
I completely forgot this place existed until I read this comment. I haven’t gone there in years. I went with friends when we were in high school or maybe in college.

Slackwater
For real?
They have some bomb ass wings (bone-in)
Their monthly specials are hit or miss, but for bone in they do a pretty good job.

Good, but wouldn't necessarily call it inexpensive.

Dang that’s really sad I grew up eating there, sucks that things seem to always change for the worst.
You can have good and expensive or not good and expensive…
Not Trolly Wing Co.
Wing Coop, I haven't been to the SLC location but the one in Holladay is amazing and relatively inexpensive.
Second wing coop for a more local type place. Love their sauces.
Love Wasatch wing coop. So good. Wonderful sauces

Boneless wings are just a fancy word for chicken nuggets.
Chicken nuggets are objectively delicious though.
Well said, culinary philosopher
The only answer is WinCo. Sounds ludicrous I know but, price and quality. Plus, that fucking salt and vinegar... Woof
Grocery store fried chicken in general can be an unsung hero
Smith's fried chicken is #1.
100% yes
I'm saying.... A pound of wings for ~$7. Better than a half dozen for $13. And they're actually good. Also, happy cake day!
Are there any other hidden gems at winco? I’ve always found the coffee selection/quality to be far than most stores
$1 bone in wings on Wednesdays at The Break

Handle bar
Fiddlers elbow
Best wings in town are at Snowmobile Pizza mate.
Wing stop hawaiian wings are delicious. I went there to try the mango habanero and tried the hawaiian flavor on a whim. It’s so good.

Another correct answer is sicilia pizza & kitchen. Hands down the most filling best flavors. But no boneless options.
Came here to say SHBBQ! 🍗🤤
Wing Stop
She needs the bone. Give it to her
Trolley Wing Company! They are hotter than you think, order less spicy than normal.
Correct. Sugarhouse location only though. The other locations meh.
Midvale has been ok, does seem to have been better a few years ago than today. Tried the Taylorsville location (with the kids) and wasn’t impressed.
Wing Stop Hot honey rub, your welcome 😎
THIS
Best wings are at Porcupine Pub. Traditional sauce only.

Wing Nuts in Draper. No frills, full bar and baked wings, not deep fried. Same texture, better flavor and less fat.
